Job Purpose

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) combines software development and system leading to build and run distributed solutions in a secured multi-tier heterogeneous environment to safeguard, provide and continuously improve the software and systems behind the organization’s cloud platform solutions.

The Job

· Work closely with Cloud Portfolio Director and the Cloud Engagement Lead to derive and implement a technical roadmap that is align with the IT architecture and cloud strategy.

· Work closely with a team of engineers of different domains to implement new and enhanced services the cloud platform.

· Be the solution engineer for the cloud platform, which includes new services via IaC on IaaS across Hybrid Cloud.

· Leverages on software as the primary tool to optimizing systems, building infrastructure and removing mundane work through automation. Scale sustainably via automation and evolve services/solutions, leveraging IaaS across hybrid cloud to drive changes that improves reliability and velocity.

· Engages in and improves the full lifecycle of cloud platform solutions from design, deployment, operation and refinement with accuracy and in compliance with organization policies and security requirements.

· Automate repetitive tasks and optimize cloud operations.

· Support services before go-live through activities like system design consulting, developing software platforms and launch reviews. Maintain post-live cloud operations by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health with any prompt and remediate actions.

· Support cloud adoption including new system and legacy system migration from traditional infrastructure to GEL Cloud platform

· Deploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they arise. Specifying, documenting and developing new product features, and writing automating scripts.

Our Requirements

· Strong hands on experience with using and designing VMware Cloud Foundry solution including NSX-T, vRealize Suite, vSphere/vCenter is mandatory.

· Strong hands on experience with using and designing Public Clouds (AWS, GCP or Azure) landing zone and infrastructure layer

· Strong working experience on patch management for operating systems and middleware is mandatory. Eg, Windows, RedHat, Websphere, Weblogic, MSSQL etc.

· Hands on experience with creation and maintenance of VMware server templating/blueprints such as RedHat, Windows server templates.

Job Purpose

Requirements

· Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

· Minimum 15 years of working experience with LNG Tank Construction| O& G company's construction fields' quaity control/ supervisory background

· Oil & Gas industry’s experience with relevant certs is crucial

· 10-15 years of work experience in the EPC projects

· Sound knowledge on industry’s best practices and past experience in attaining the alignment with industry best practices.

· Solid technical and practical experience in the relevant discipline, including ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them.

· Expertise in Schedule Development: Development skills up to Level 3 Schedules using Primavera 6, considering Enterprise Environmental Factors and Organizational Process Assets.

· Proven skills in various Risk Management Techniques for both schedule and cost, including Risk Register brainstorming sessions and the development of risk responses for positive and negative risks.

· Material Management skill: Expertise in developing progress monitoring systems using CMS and Virtual Manager VM, aligning with Primavera 6.

· Progress Monitoring skill: Expertise in developing Material Management Systems including material handling and inspection procedures.

· Strategic Planning and Analysing skills

· Subcontract Management skill: Expertise in developing subcontract schedule annexes and evaluate bidder offers, along with developing Manpower & Equipment Deployment Plans.

· Expertise in Implementation of Planning and Scheduling Standards to ensure adherence to our client's Planning and Scheduling standards and procedures, striving for alignment with industry best practices.

· Management Support:Provide support to the Site Manager in matters about schedule, progress, cost, and contract management.

· Project Coordination:Initiate project coordination efforts with the client, project sponsors, and the project management team at client's Japan’s office.

· Contract Review and Scope Baseline Development: Review contract draft and bid documents, identify key points in the Scope of Work (SOW), and clarify ambiguous points for clear scope definition.

· Team Management:Develop and manage Planning and Reporting teams to ensure effective project planning and progress monitoring.

· Recognized trade qualifications in the relevant discipline or equivalent experience

. Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and a sound knowledge in relevant technical Softwares (such as Construction Management System, 3D CAD Models, etc.

· Committed to complete the contractual period: 2.5 years- 3 years of contract job (approximately)

· Comfortable with construction site’s environment in the UAE & Japan

The Job

• Underwrite new applications for Life, Accident and Health, disability income and long term care proposals
• Countersign and provide guidance to junior underwriters
• Provide underwriting advice & support for financial planners through e-booking, emails, phone calls
• Provide critical liaison and build strong business relationship between NBU and distribution channels
