As a member of the Control and Instrumentation team, you will be responsible for executing maintenance work on instrumentation and control systems in the power plant effectively, efficiently, and to comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out repair and rectification of equipment failure and malfunction. Test and recommissioning of rectified system or equipment
• Carry out the overhaul, inspection, calibration, servicing program during plant scheduled outage.
• Implement modification, upgrading, and installation plans for plant system and equipment for enhancement, availability, and reliability improvement.
• Maintains detailed work reports, spreadsheets, graphs, plots on computer-based software (Maximo, MS Word, and MS Excel)
• Assist Engineers and Technical Officers in the maintenance work
• Supervise contractors under his charge

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Possesses knowledge of Instrumentation
• Preferably possesses 2 years of experience in Power Plant or Oil and Gas industry
• Self-driven, with a good working attitude and a good team player
• Is available on standby after office hours for emergency calls
• Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.
• Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.

• Responsible for the formulation of maintenance strategies and short term/long term planning for Control Systems expansion, upgrading and renewal.
• Gatekeeper for system architecture and engineering standards for all process Control Systems which are installed onsite (JI plant) or offsite (at customers' site); ensuring implementation of modification works according to these requirements.
• Lead the team to perform fine-tuning, troubleshooting, modification and programming of the Control System as needed to improve system performance and optimize process operation needs.
• Provide response to 24-hour emergency call-out and night-shift support during plant shutdown, startup, and as requested by Operation Team.
• Manage the team and work closely with the E&I, Technical Service, Reliability and Operation Teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Lead the team to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance works for plant turnaround.
• Provide resouce and work with the Regional Project Team to review requirements and/or specifications of Control System for ongoing projects; may need to attend FAT, SAT, MC walkdown and PSSR.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, major in Process Control and Instrumentation is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience working and maintaining Process Control systems, especially Honeywell DCS, Siemens PCS7 and Triconex PLC in refinery or petrochemical industry.
• Familiar with the engineering tools and programming languages of these systems.
• Experience and knowledge in field instrument, control valve, switchgear and MCC are added advantage.
• Experience in managing Control System expansion, upgrading and renewal projects.
• Knowledge and experience with computer system networking, server/client and virtualization environments.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Project, Outlook and SAP systems.
• Self-confident and able to work independently with minimum supervision but also, a good team player.
• Experience in managing a team of engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering
• 10 years of senior quality management experience in precision engineering, contract manufacturing of complex semiconductor equipment, or wafer fab environment.
