Job Description

• Manage a range of Biotech/Life Sciences laboratory related services (DNA sequencing, Gene, peptide synthesis) & products (consumables, reagents etc) to target the industry involved in R&D
• Manages assigned product portfolio and generates sales to achieve revenue, target and budget
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of sales product
• Establish relationships with existing and new clients or customers through active sale coverage in assigned zone
• Conduct post sale follow-up in coordination with service delivery
• Handling of sales inquiries, preparation of sales reports/quotation, updating customers database
• Conduct regular on-site customers visit as per sale strategy and submit weekly sales report
• Perform routine sale follow-up calls as per assigned zone to hit sales revenue goal

Job Requirement

• With Degree or Diploma in Medical Technology / Biomedical Science / Life Sciences / Biotechnology
• At least 1 year of direct sales or related experience
• With industrial experience in Healthcare / Research Laboratories or Institutions / Engineering services is preferred

The appointed WSH Officer is primarily responsible for the works carried out by the Contractor, his subcontractors and other person managed by the Contractor. Notwithstanding the general duties stated in the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH Officer) Regulations and other WSH regulations, primary responsibilities of the appointed WSH Officer includes but not limited to the

following:

• Assist the Contractor in developing, implementing and enhancing WSH programmes in the Institute.
• Be responsible for all safety and health aspects of the Contractor, his subcontractors and other persons managed by the Contractor.
• Assist the Contractor to set up a WSH committee and preside as the Secretary of the committee in the Institute.
• Prepare documents for submission as required by the Institute WSH procedures and requirements. Such documents may include, but is not limited to, certificates, risk assessment reports, safe work procedures, work method statements, inspection reports, audit reports, training records and etc.
• Plan and conduct routine inspections in relation to works of the Contractor carry out at the various Campuses for compliance to WSH related requirements.
• Plan, co-ordinate and oversee activities related to workplace safety and health and environmental protection.
• Ensure that risk assessments for all work activities are conducted, safe work procedures and to propose recommendations and review them when necessary.
• Ensure that the works are safe to persons at work and other stakeholders (including the Institute’s staff, students, partners, visitors and etc.)
• Implement Permit to Work procedures as required by the WSH regulations and undertake the Assessor’s roles where appropriate.
• Investigate, analyse, report and suggest appropriate prevention measures in the event of incidents/accidents occurred in the Institute.
• Conduct safety related training for the Contractor’s staff & sub-contractors.
• Audit equipment, machineries and assets regularly to ensure that they are in good
• working condition, with relevant certification and equipped with safety protection.
• Assess and analyse potential risks and make recommendations when equipment and machineries are brought to the Institute for use.
• Audit the Contractor’s WSH Management System (or equivalent) and submit report to the Institute.
• Work with the Institute to develop, implement and maintain the WSH Management System.
• Undertake any other related duties directed by Institute.

Requirements

• At least a Diploma or Degree in relevant course in built industry
• Valid registration with relevant Safety Training Certificates or equivalent qualification approved by MOM
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience relevant to the work to be performed by the WSHO in building construction and works of engineering construction.
• Workplace Safety & Health Officer (fire safety coordination, training, emergency & crisis coordination, communications, maintenance safety risk assessment &mitigation).

Responsibilities:

• Manage and work with a team of logistic and warehouse personnel of receiving, issuing, packing and shipping arrangement
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipment
• Preparation of shipping and related documents
• Handle documentation for LC negotiation, import and export

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Administration/Logistic/ Supply Chain or equivalent

The Executive (Facilities Support) will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintenance and upkeep of the RC’s estate and facilities, through regular building and M&E inspections, compliance to authorities’ requirements and management of service subcontractors to effectively achieve the highest standard. The postholder will also ensure that all facilities maintenance issues and emergencies are attended to promptly and rectified with minimal inconvenience and disruption. The postholder will work closely with vendors/contractors such as security force, cafeteria and transport services.

Critical Work Functions

1. Implementation of safety policies and initiatives to ensure a conducive and Safe Environment for Users

• Develop and implement preventive/corrective maintenance programs for M&E installations
• Develop and implement fire emergency plan, fire safety audit, maintenance plan for security surveillance systems and carpark facilities to achieve highest standard of safety and security
• Requisite safety and security equipment and parts
• Follow up and investigate incidents or complaints relating to fire safety and security in RC campuses and properties
• Work closely with security vendor to ensure safe and smooth vehicular flow in premises
• Program Security Cards and issue to all new hires, collect all Security Cards card from resigned staffs and delete the access card in system

2. Liaison with subcontractors and vendors

• Follow through the tender, evaluation and recommendation of service or term contracts, as well as its administration and management to ensure works are carried out in accordance to planned schedules, budget and approved specifications.
• Conduct general inspection to identify services for rectification and oversee sub-contractors’ performance in accordance with contractual work scope and timeline of completion
• Regularly coordinate and escort the external vendors to carry out regular maintenance and fixing services accordingly to schedule or as needed
• Plan the transportation deployment of the school vehicles; and ensure maintenance and upkeep of the school vehicles.

3. Education and Staff Enablement

• Remain up to date and compliant with all relevant legislation, organizational procedures and policies
• Cultivate a high performance team culture through promotion of learning and development and regular feedback on performance

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Facility Management/Building Services/M&E
• Entry level to experienced
