Focal point for inspection queries and scheduling of inspection activities. Ensures conformance of materials, purchased parts and manufactured parts in alignment with quality control plans, specifications, processes and standards. Adds value by ensuring products and services are delivered in compliance with customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unboxing, unwrapping and preparing of items for inspection.
• Execute in process and/or final inspection of materials, purchased parts and manufactured parts to ensure conformance with quality control plan, procedures, documentation and standards.
• Review and ensure manufacturing work orders and associated documentation is completed and processed correctly in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor and ensure callibration of equipment, work areas are kept clean and appropriate PPE and best practice lifting practices are adhered to at all times.
• Prioritise inspection activities in alignment with delivery objectives.
• Effectively communicate non conformance issues to engineering / production expedites solutions as necessary to support delivery objectives.
• Attending production meetings.
• Completing of non scheduled urgent inspection tasks within the completions business.

• 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing facility/ quality inspection/ industrial/ engineering

What You Will Do

• Metrology / Qualification of New / Modified Parts: Facilitate the development of measurement plans / methods and lead the disposition of new products at FOT (First Off Tool) and Qualification. • Flawless Launch: Work with Manufacturing AQP or QE to conduct Safe Launch exercise. Perform process audits and reverse (go & see) FMEA’s to qualify new production processes, and to ensure compliance to documented control plans for new products.
• Customer Approval: Ensures customer required documentation relating to customer acceptance of new products and product modifications are completed.
• Supplier Approval: Reviews and approves supplier product specific documentation on new and modified purchased components. Works with supplier quality engineer to ensure compliance.
• Problem Solver: Lead in the problem solving (8D’s), analysis, and resolution of new product related customer complaints or internal quality complaints during launch. Support efforts for prevention of repeat issues & systemic improvements to the Product Development Processes to reduce New Products QNs.
• Principle Based Management & Quality Systems: Understand & practice the KOCH 5 dimensions & guiding principles, Lean / Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support functional departments in terms of processes of food quality and safety during daily operations.

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to civil, structural, and architectural items.
