As a Marine Assurance Officer, you are an independent operational adviser, auditor and coach for the Company and vessels on matters related to marine assurance. You provide day-to-day Quality, Healthy and Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) advice and active assistance within the business unit, department, vessel and or project. In this role, you ensure that all onshore and offshore activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety of all personnel involved and the protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution.

Within the role you will advise Vessel Managers, Technical Superintendents and Masters’ on maritime regulations and the interpretation thereof to ensure Flag State and International Maritime compliance. You will advise Purchasers on equipment purchasing for ships to ensure they meet maritime regulations and standards.

You will implement vessel safety rules and practices to promote safety on our vessels, and leading by example towards compliance through a positive and safe attitude & through contributing to the HSSE awareness of all employees by coaching and advice. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Quality Engineer (EE) who can…

• Support NPI transfer and Production readiness activities that includes new or existing products from Design Engineering to Manufacturing.
• Create and submit Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s), Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO’s) for PCBA’s and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret requirements for EE PCBA testing and utilize industry best known methods.
• Work closely with US test development teams to develop reliable test collateral (fixtures and methods) then transfer to Asia based supplier to ensure effective test coverage & yield performance metrics are achieved.
• Develop, review, and approve engineering/test/supplier documentation to assure that appropriate quality and operational requirements are addressed.
• Develop and drive proposed solutions to address PCBA / EE related failures that may impact production.
• Collaborate directly with EMS suppliers as well as Design Engineering to resolve design issues that result in risk to the Quality & Reliability.
• Develop and engage suppliers in the areas of preventative action, corrective action, and continuous improvement to eliminate recurrence.
• Partner with design engineering to facilitate supplier value engineering in product development with strong influence in DFT & Quality improvements.
• Demonstrate expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and establish manufacturing test methods, processes, and tools to streamline new and existing products.
• Support production issues and effective process control systems for on-going manufacturing of products.
• Lead & drive First article inspections for the PCBA’s, Cables & electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Analyze Field returns/failure rate to improve product performance and determine root cause with a focus on overall Yield improvements.

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity and creativity is:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines and a minimum 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with PCBA manufacturing including box build assemblies, SMT process and Testing methods.
• Proficient in interpreting schematics and hands-on troubleshooting electronic circuits.
• Demonstrated use of Quality tools/methodologies such as: SPC, GR&R, Poke-yoke, FMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, 8D as well as production processes for electronics (IPC600, IPC610, IPC620).
• Ability to drive production escalations and interact with internal team and external suppliers to influence decisions, provide direction, and develop solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio programming in Visual Basic or C# preferred.
• Experience in Python and deploy data collection (mySQL or MSSQL databases) will be an added advantage.
• Good team player who is self-motivated, independent and has ability to exercise judgement in complex situations.

Job Objectives

For the approved EDAG 2.0 ITC project, Rhel SMEs are required to support EDAG 2.0 Plan and Run activities including installation, upgrade, patching, compliance remediation and troubleshooting Redhat OS related issues.

Key Responsibilities

To support planning, administration, and technical support of Rhel operating system capabilities including designing, developing, and troubleshooting or debugging software programs for enhancements, in-place upgrade for obsolescence OSes and new products for EDAG 2.0 platform.

Key Requirements

Job Requirements

· Represent the Category Quality viewpoint to NUTRITION Category Marketing and R&D, with links to other applicable parts of the business, including Supply, Regulatory etc. Provide communication to relevant management.

· Provide support for cross category projects as required by the business, representing Quality.

· Ensure pilot plant operations comply with GMP’s.

· Drive Supplier issue resolution encountered during innovation phase in conjunction with Global Supplier Quality

· Review and approve change controls and summary reports related to innovation projects and ensure projects are executed following global SOP’s.

Requirements:

· Degree qualified in a Science, Quality or Engineering discipline.

· 3+ years’ experience working in an infant formula or pharmaceutical company.

· 3+ years experience working within a Quality Assurance function or 3+ years working within an R&D, or Regulatory function of a company manufacturing infant formula or pharmaceuticals.
