• conduct code reviews and to engage in the testing of the software (test-driven development is a known term for you)
• support the team in troubleshooting of production issues (L3 support)

You will work in a highly collaborative environment with colleagues from globally diverse backgrounds and skillsets coming together to solve challenging problems as a team. The position is within our Be a Client stream closely collaborating with the part of Agile delivery units distributed across the globe. Our teams design, deliver and operate banking product, maintenance systems that offer best-in-class services to the bank’s clients.

Your expertise:

• Demonstrating a track record as mainframe tech lead with many years of experience in development, maintenance and production support using Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) such as Agile & Scrum you will be able to walk us through your professional achievements and skills:
• extensive technical knowledge of z/OS & z/Abacus programming in COBOL, DB2, CICS and SQL
• good knowledge of MQ and Filetransfer
• familiar with OPC scheduling, knowing how to interpret the schedules
• solid understanding of JCL and IBM Debugger
• experience in test driven development, continuous integration & deployment
• hands-on experience in GitLab-facilitated software delivery

• Provide support for operational and technical activities
• Machine & Equipment maintenance / calibration
• Establish SOP and machine manual to provide comprehensive servicing and maintenance programmes
• Identify areas of process improvement and automation to implement work improvement programmes to achieve desired machine efficiency and reject rate
• Plan, evaluate and improve technical/engineering projects for cost and productivity
• Implementation of industrial safety practice to ensure compliance
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
