Manager, International Business Development, APAC
Our client from the QSR industry is looking for a regional Manager, International Business Development - APAC, to focus on Asia Pacific (ex-India sub-continent), reporting to the Senior Director, International Business Development. This role involves driving growth across APAC, identifying and securing new business partners, managing development processes, and focusing on both new market penetration and renewals with existing partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Adapt and implement strategies to build a pipeline of potential business partners and enhance company portfolio awareness. Utilize networks to drive pipeline and meet overall growth ambitions for both annual and long-range plans.
- Evaluate new partners' business plans and ensure alignment with company goals. Work collaboratively with other functions and the regional market teams.
- Prepare and present new business opportunities, ensuring compliance with development processes and due diligence.
- Lead negotiations and coordinate with the regional market team, legal, finance, and other functional teams to align new business with the growth strategy.
- Work closely with regional market teams to support existing business renewals and commit to growth, maintaining best practices.
- Support commercial projects related to development team growth.
- Actively participate in team initiatives and planning.
- Document progress, create internal reports, and conduct presentations.
- Create presentations and conduct presentations internally and for external audiences.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s in Business Management, Real Estate, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.
● 10 years of experience within international businesses, within development or sales roles, franchise, and licensing across any sector. Preferably F&B/QSR sectors.
● Results orientated, team player, thrives in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong interpersonal, commercial, and financial skills.
● Proficiency in managing multiple projects with the team and across the organization.
● Expertise in full Microsoft Office suite
● Experience in International business environments – required.
● Prior franchisee relationship experience – preferred.
● Willingness to travel up to 50%.
