The Role

We are looking for a Senior Bunker Surveyor to operate in Singapore. The surveyor shall conduct bunker surveys in Singapore, maintain his bunker surveyor license and help with the yearly company’s accreditation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing bunker surveys on tankers, bulk carriers, cattle carriers, others
• Performing on hire and off hire surveys
• Performing condition surveys
• Be in contact with agents and clients to board ships timely
• Maintain his personal Bunker Survey license
• Help maintain the company’s bunker surveyor accreditation
• If short supply happens, reduce the shortage as much as possible by using technicalities and experience

• Ad Hoc duties: Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks as allocated, at the discretion of management, and that are within your capabilities and the scope of your role

Required Skills

• 5 years’ experience of working as bunker surveyor in Singapore
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients
• Investigation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and other written communication.

Job Description:

• Prepare and Monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, check variations and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Source and Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.
• Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Final Accounts and Sub-contractor Progress Claims.
