Duties & Responsibilities

· Process Payroll - accurate & timely payment of employees' payroll (Times Software)

· Prepare bank files for submission, prepare CPF and IRAS submission

· Prepare monthly payroll reconciliation and journal to Finance

· Manage recruitment, interviewing candidates & following up on the hiring process

· Administer work pass matters, application, renewal, cancellation, and others

· Provide day to day admin duties

· Assist to answer phone calls

· Participate in HR meeting, company’s events & activities

· Undertakes in other duties as assigned

Requirements:

An Assistant Cook, or Assistant Chef ensures the kitchen is orderly and assists Cooks to prepare and arrange food. Their duties include cleaning the kitchen area, washing dishes and utensils and ensuring that the Cook has everything required to run the kitchen efficiently.

Assistant Cook duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients

• Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas based on company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards

• Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment

• Buying, weighing and storing ingredients and food supplies

• Assist in experimental design
• Conduct experiments to collect kinetic parameters
• Characterisation of catalyst properties with various physical and chemical methods.
• Coordinate with vendors on reactor modification and improvement.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for regular project meetings and summarize results in reports
• Prepare results for publications in scientific journals or patents

Job requirements:

• Degree or Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry or Applied Physics
• Knowledge in catalysis
• Hands experience on operation for fixed bed reactor.
• Experience in reactor building with automation is preferred
• Proactive, team player and good problem-solving skills
• Data analysis and interpretation skills
• Excellent oral/written communication
• Willingness to learn new skills and explore new ideas
