The scope of the projects conducted under the premise of PROP includes 1) early- and late-phase clinical trials; 2) cancer genomics and data science; and 3) translational cancer and radiation biology. For this role, you will be mainly working with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the research teams under Theme 2. The projects involve studying cancer genomics of two main cancers, nasopharyngeal and prostate cancer, and the mechanistic pathways involved or identification of novel biomarkers for radioresistance. Samples from consented patients will be used for next-generation sequencing and/or microarray to generate “big data” for further analysis by our data scientists. Budget and Financial Management: Work closely with research team to manage research project budgets, including tracking expenses, monitoring spending, providing financial reports and preparation of purchase requisitions. Coordinate with finance, procurement and others departments to ensure accurate financial management of research projects.

Research Support: Assist department with administrative tasks, such organizing meetings / events, collation of data, preparation of forms, managing assets and databases. Provide guidance on research best practices, funding opportunities and resources available to researchers.

Grant Management: Assist in managing the entire lifecycle of research grants, including proposal development, budgeting, submission, and post-award administration. Collaborate with researchers and funding agencies to ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting guidelines.

Research Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant research regulations and policies to ensure adherence to ethical standards, data protection laws, and institutional guidelines. Provide guidance and support to researchers regarding compliance issues and assist in obtaining necessary approvals.

Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration between researchers, faculty members, funding agencies, and other stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between the research department and internal departments, ensuring clear communication channels and efficient information flow.

Research Reporting and Documentation: Collect, analyze, and synthesize data related to research projects, prepare progress reports, and assist with the preparation of research publications, presentations, and documentation for regulatory submissions.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as business administration, accounting, finance or a related discipline).

· 1 – 2 years of work experience/ proven experience in research administration or project management within a research environment is desirable.

· Good knowledge of research funding processes, grant management, and compliance regulations.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

· Exceptional attention to details.

· Proficient in using research administration systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Community-based Oral Care Programme for Vulnerable Seniors through Tele-dentistry

Responsibilities

You will assist the principal investigator to develop and implement the tele-dentistry supported community-based oral care programme for seniors which includes:

· Key conduit between National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), Ministry of Health, SingHealth Regional Health System (RHS), Agencies, community partners.

· Prepare documents for and facilitate regulatory (e.g. Institution Review Board, Health Sciences Authority) approvals.

· Facilitate the signing of project agreements with external collaborators.

· Provide advice on programme implementation and workflow.

· Facilitate programme-related outreach events and training sessions.

· Design and develop informed consent form, data collection forms, logs and other study related document.

· Execute the approved clinical research protocols in accordance to the ICH-Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA) and other regulatory requirements, including (but not limited to) assisting the principal investigator(s) in:

• Subject’s consent taking
• Scheduling study-related appointments for research subjects
• Collect study data
• Completing data collection forms
• Administer surveys or questionnaires
• Managing the study-related equipment
• Handling queries by research subjects
• Other patient-fronting research activities stated in the protocol

· Set up and maintain Investigator study file(s), including records of all approvals and reports.

· Coordinate and take minutes for study specific meetings between the various stakeholders such as NDCS, RHS and community partners.

· Set up and entry of research data into the study database.

· Simple interim analysis of data.

· Coordinating and taking notes for study specific meetings between the investigators and their study team members

· Ensure timely preparation and submission of study progress reports

· Preparation for study audits by relevant regulatory authorities and grant funding bodies

Requirements

· Degree in Nursing, Biological Science, Pharmacy or other healthcare related discipline.

· Familiar with Singapore Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (SGGCP), ethics and regulatory requirements for conducting clinical research

The SingHealth Regional Health System (RHS) drives SingHealth’s efforts in developing and strengthening partnerships across care providers in the eastern region, both private and public, and across care settings – tertiary, primary and community care, to empower our population to keep well, get well and live well in their communities and homes. The RHS provides oversight of all care integration programmes across the cluster for all SingHealth Care Integration and Healthier SG initiatives and provides overarching strategic direction to the various programmes under its’ purview. It also provides support service development, as well as monitors and evaluates key population health initiatives.

You will support the evaluation of population health initiatives at SingHealth RHS. You will assist with developing the programme evaluation plans, engaging the programme stakeholders, coordinating meetings, performing literature review and data collection through surveys and interviews. You will support the preparation of meeting minutes, reports and manuscripts. You will also assist with planning and organizing training workshops and scientific symposiums.

As a clinical research coordinator, you will be actively involved in coordinating clinical trial activities according to the study protocol and in compliance to the ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines and the Health Products (Therapeutic Products) Regulations under the Health Product Act.

You will support and assist the Principal Investigator in the following trial related activities:

• Patient screening and recruitment,
• Monitoring subject’s compliance to their treatment and follow-up,
• Data collection and management including resolving data discrepancies,
• Coordinating the collection of biological specimens,
• Monitoring of adverse events and safety reporting,
• Maintaining and organising of investigator site files, preparation and submissions to the ethics committee and relevant local health authorities,
• Tracking of trial expenditures and timely invoicing.

Requirements:

• Degree in Life Sciences/Nursing
• OR Diploma in Nursing with minimum 6 years working experience as CRC
• 2 years of related working experience will be advantageous
