A. Overall Purpose Of The Job

· To be responsible for the delivery of professional, effective and timely clinical services for International SOS Clients. The health care support meets a high standard of clinical excellence in partnership with the local and regional teams.

B. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Provide first aid treatment and primary healthcare a nurse’s capabilities
• Provide basic stabilization and triage to major cases within a nurse’s capabilities
• Provide documentation, reports of cases seen
• Communicate with both International SOS medical staff and client regarding clinical information

Case Escalation

• To work within the standard operating procedures to facilitate authorization and communication advisement throughout the period of patient medical evacuation and admission / discharge to / from the treating facility.
• To participate in the medical training of internal and external escort nursing team members.
• Participate and support the Medical Transportation Standards through the process of audit and case review to ensure compliance.
• Participate in the Medevac on call duties for escort team coordination and nursing duties as required.

DESCARTES PROGRAM

The DesCartes programme is developing a hybrid AI, combining Learning, Knowledge and Reasoning, which has good properties (need for less resources and data, security, robustness, fairness, respect for privacy, ethics), and demonstrated on industrial applications of the smart city (digital energy, monitoring of structures, air traffic control).

The program brings together 80 permanent researchers (half from France, half from Singapore), with the support of large industrial groups (Thales SG, EDF SG, ESI group, CETIM Matcor, ARIA etc.).

The Research Fellow will assist with primary legal research in a variety of legal fields associated with cutting edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology research, from innovation and intellectual property laws to data governance (including access to data, data commons, compliance with data protection laws). The Research Fellow will contribute to the development of best practice guidelines and governance systems and participate in research administrative tasks. Some supervision of junior research staff may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in primary legal research on databases such as Lexis-Nexis, HeinOnline on areas of data governance and technology law such as data protection, data privacy, IP;
