The Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) Programme aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention and control of new and emerging pathogens. The key outcome of the research will be the early identification of new pathogens, out of which new diagnostic tests, treatments and control strategies will be developed.

The laboratory of Immunotherapy in HBV Infection within the EID Programme is focused on the study of immune response of Hepatitis B and the liver microenvironment. The Memory Aging & Cognition Centre (MACC) is a Research Center within the National University Health System funded by the Singapore National Medical Research Council that focuses on the study of dementia and cognitive impairment in the elderly. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform academic research on neuroimaging (CT, MRI, PET and retinal) and its association with cognition and other clinical outcomes in MACC observational and clinical trial cohorts.

The ongoing Project “Understanding the low-frequency variability of coastal sea level in Southeast Asia using a regional ocean model and observations” has been funded by National Research Foundation until 31 July 2025. The successful candidate will be working with a multidisciplinary team of atmosphere and ocean scientists, and particularly be responsible for:

-running NEMO ocean model using past and projected forces provided by the atmospheric team;

-use data analysis and model simulations experiments to understand the mechanism of regional sea level variability driven by large scale atmosphere/oceanic processes.

Depending on qualifications and experience, successful Candidate could be employed at Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow level.

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Fellow in the Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The Department of Medicine will be working with the National University Health System Transformation Office to develop innovative care models and related research. The objective is to improve health for patients and residents both within the health system and in the community. Purpose of the post

The upcoming Project funded by a Singapore Agency for 4 years includes regional (South-East Asia, SEA) dynamical downscaling of storm surges using CMIP6 GCMs atmospheric projections for 21st century. The particular emphasis will be on storm surges trend and extremes in Singapore coastal waters. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• setting and running DELFT3D Flexible Mesh (DELFT3D-FM) model using past and projected atmospheric forces downscaled by an atmospheric team;
• use model experiments and data analysis to compute and understand mechanisms of regional (SEA) and Singapore Strait storm surge variability and trend driven by larger scale atmosphere/ocean processes.

Candidate will be having Ph.D. in ocean/coastal sciences/engineering from a reputable University.

Duties & Responsibilities

Research:
- Handling and processing clinical samples for genomics and proteomics analyses, including the establishment of long-term culture models for in-depth molecular characterization and functional studies.

- Analyse data and summarise findings for the research team.

Administrative duties:
- Assist with lab housekeeping and administrative duties as needed.
- To maintain the N2CR Avatar portal, including registering & updating new entries and keeping track of the usage of the portal.
