Scope of Works:

Reception

1. Manage the reception counter at the school’s General Office in accordance to MOE’s and the school’s operating procedures, rules, and regulations.
2. Keep the reception counter clean, tidy and presentable and maintain the necessary stationery, forms and material at the counter.
3. Perform customer service role in answering, screening, forwarding or taking down messages of incoming phone calls in a polite, respectful and professional manner.
4. Provide customer service support to walk-in students, teachers, parents, visitors and school stakeholders in a polite, respectful and professional manner with care and empathy.
5. Attend to unwell or injured students and render first aid if needed.
6. Contact parents of unwell students to be taken home or students who have been absent from school.
7. Maintain the sick bay including first aid supplies
8. Administer lost and found items and maintain records.
9. Maintain safety and security by directing visitors, including contractors, delivery men, parents, etc to wait at the designated waiting area and call relevant staff to meet or pick them up.
10. Liaise and work with the Security Officer to ensure that approval is granted by school before any student is allowed to leave school early.

General Administration

1. Handle general office administrative tasks such as receiving and directing of incoming mails/packages and goods, managing and distributing notifications and letters to teachers’ trays, filing, collating and printing of documents.
2. Attend to outgoing and incoming faxes.
3. Maintain the mail trays and form trays in the General Office.
4. Monitor and collate submission of forms by students.
5. Pack and distribute information, posters, leaflets etc. for students and teachers.
6. Support in sign-in and sign-out of coaches and instructors and relief teachers attendance.
7. During off-peak period, support back-end Admin in general admin work.
8. Support housekeeping for admin office and stores.
9. Assist in data entry, record keeping and filing of documents.
10. Support school events and any duties as assigned by school.

Deployment:

• Mondays to Thursday: 7:30am to 5.00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
• Friday: 7.30am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break

Scope of works:

• Daily cleaning and maintenance of Kitchen 1 and Kitchen 2 at Level 2 (general floor area, kitchen tops, tabletops, kitchen appliances and equipment).

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Halal procedures, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

. Lead and manage the Front of House restaurant's operations, with a primary focus on maintaining Halal standards and procedures throughout the establishment.

· Train, mentor, and supervise restaurant staff, including chefs, servers, and kitchen assistants, to ensure compliance with Halal guidelines and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

· Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source Halal-certified ingredients and products, ensuring the integrity of our menu offerings and maintaining the trust of our customers.

· Oversee food preparation, handling, and serving processes to ensure strict adherence to Halal standards according to MUIS regulations.

· Enforce and implement policies and procedures to uphold MUIS Halal standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

· Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in Halal certification to ensure ongoing compliance and relevance for our restaurant.

· Overseeing day-to-day operations of the store and ensuring smooth operations.

· Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and handling transactions efficiently.

· Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

· Handling cash transactions accurately and securely.

· Supervising and training crew staff on food preparation, customer service, and safety.

· Adhering to health and safety regulations, including cleanliness standards and hygiene practices.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in a Halal restaurant environment.
