Responsibilities

. Reporting to the HOD, Welding| Department: Production.

· To manage all welding activities of the company.

· To lead a team of welding supervisors to supervise all welding works.

· To provide expert advice on any welding issues and resolve them.

· To lead all PQR and WQT for the company in liaison with QA/QC Dept.

· To plan all welding works to be meet the project schedule.

· To ensure staff are adequately trained and skilled to supervise the welding works

· To feed back to Construction Manager, QA/QC Manager and Project Manager on the progress of welding work.

· To ensure all welding activities are performed in accordance to project specification sand procedure.

· To ensure all works are in accordance to company’s ISO requirements and objectives in terms of KPI.

· To recommend the type of consumables to be used per project.

· To provide an estimate of the consumable requirement and consumption per project.

· To be responsible for the recruitment of welders and welding supervisors whenever required.

· To ensure consumable stock level is always pre-ordered and maintain at an optimum level.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Nitec with minimum 10 year of relevant experience in Structural and pipe, fabrication welding in O&G or Marine Offshore industry (CRUCIAL REQUIREMENTS).
• CSWIP 3.1 (CRUCIAL REQUIREMENT)
• Knowledge in Topside modules fabrication, Oil and Gas. (CRUCIAL REQUIREMENT)
• Adaptable to fast paced work environment, able to work under pressure, able to finish assigned work on time.
• Excellent written and good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork.

The Assistant Chief Engineer supports the Chief Engineer in maintaining overall maintenance operations of entire Hotel facility, including guest rooms, all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C. systems, fire protection system, kitchen equipments, emergency power system, sewage system and related equipment in accordance with guest service, preventive maintenance and energy conservation standards and programs. • Assists in developing, implement and manage emergency programs for the operation and maintenance of all equipment and physical structures in compliance with corporate standards, local, state and national codes and regulations to protect the asset, guests and associates, to ensure optimum operations, minimize expenses and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the short and long term planning and day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department.
• Reports to Chief Engineer, on a regular basis, regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structures, guest areas, service areas, related systems and equipment offering prudent and cost effective proposals for maintaining the same. Requirements
