Job Description

The Assistant Clinical Training Co-Ordinator (ACTC) will work closely with the Clinical Training Co-Ordinator (CTC) to co-ordinate and monitor the assignment of patients to BDS students during the clinical phase of their training. At the same time, the ACTC will also monitor the management of these assigned patients. The ACTC will work with the Module Co-Ordinators, Faculty's Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs (UESA), nursing and operations colleagues from the National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore (NUCOHS) and other relevant stakeholders to support sustainable clinical training opportunities for the undergraduates. • Education – At least Diploma holder / A Levels
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer servicing or related

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

• Work with Director of Commercial Strategy, Director of Sales & Catering in the preparation and management of the Annual Sales & Marketing Plan
• Assist in the preparation of the marketing plan and annual room budget.
• Assists in producing, implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure sales targets and revenue objective are achieved for assigned portfolio.
• Analyses current and potential markets/trends, coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increase rate
• Procures new and repeat business for the hotel by monitoring contact with corporate, governments / embassies and professional associations with local, domestic and international markets.
• Maintains contact with planners, corporate procurements, incentive buyers, airlines, tour operators and wholesalers, through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications
• Creates and implements special programs to achieve greater productivity through

1. Increasing average rate
2. Increasing occupancy
3. Increasing business volume during difficult periods
4. Increasing and maximizing food and beverage banqueting sales, spa and transportation revenue.

• Monitor key accounts and bookers/customers
• Co-ordinate the development of all promotional material
• Attend majors related functions to promote sales for the hotel
• Promotes the hotel as often as possible through entertaining, conducting site inspections, presentations, etc. of the hotel.
• Meets with guests from major producers / organizers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction
• Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists/database
• Organizes and attends major sales/ PR related functions within the hotel
• Provide after-sales service and in particular to ensure all guests complaints brought to management’s attention and communicate with the respective departments if necessary for proper handling. Ensure that all complaints are reviewed, investigated and follow-up action is initiated
• Entertain clients with the object to secure business or strengthen ties when required
• Assist in production of GM report, sales activity report & contribute in Sales & Marketing monthly report.
• Inspire others to excel by clearly communicating business values and direction, recognizing good performance and providing managerial support
• Develop potential of others through coaching and development opportunities to build organization capability for the future
• Provide supervision of job functions assigned to junior staff members and check the effectiveness to each staff when completed.
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.

· Coordinate with consultants and contractors on projects

· Project manage and administer building contracts where necessary

· Architectural design and design development work

· 3D modelling, renderings and drafting work for Director approval

· Coordinate submission of Architecture works to Authority & follow up Authority approval

· Report to Director and perform other duties assigned.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hands-on experience with Xero software on Accounts Receivable/Payable

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin.

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
