Job Responsibilities

Project and Site Management

• Involved in project inception, development, implementation and completion, with respect to managing people, money and time
• Co-ordinate all projects comprehensively with all stake holders (internal and external) and be responsible for all work performance
• Controls project by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; pre-empt and trouble shoot site problems early, recommending actions, setup procedures.
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Liaise with site personnel on the project schedules and sequencing of work arrangements.
• Understand contracts, ensure compliance to and fulfillment of agreed contractual terms and conditions
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations on WSH.
• Conduct regular site assessments to inspect construction practices, horticultural practices and landscape quality requirements.
• Tracks progress and provides reports and prepare progress claims
• Versed with CAD drawing production SOP, format, processes and organisation.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for landscape projects, tenders and RFQ from contractors, QS, Clients
• Oversee nursery management, inventory management and procurement activities with Worker Supervisor, Design Team and Office Admin
• Co-ordinate with Management on Financial Forecasting and Financial Planning for the company and the projects

Design & Build Sales

• Meeting clients to understand client needs and crafting the design brief, learn client relationship management (pain points and delight).
• Cultivate sensibilities to user interface and experience of the landscape programme when preparing landscape proposal and sales pitch to win a Client.
• Once the design is finalized, prepare a Bill of Quantity for Client’s approval for landscape implementation.
• Work with operations department and other contractors to deliver the intended design, inclusive of on-site coordination and problem-solving.
• Any other duties as and when assigned e.g. Design competition

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma holders
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Adhesives and Encapsulating product is preferred. Candidates from composites, thermoplastics or adhesives dispensing machines can be considered.
• Experience in managing regional distributors with fine business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
• 60-70% travel required.
• Strong Consultative/solution driven sales approach;
• Strong analytical, organizational, time and territory management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and leadership skills.
• Works well under pressure, challenges status quo.
• Able to work independently as well as a team player.
• Good competency with Microsoft Excel, Words and Powerpoint.
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Business level of English language to liaise with global customers and colleagues.
