Job Responsibilities:

Maintain complete knowledge of:

• All menu items available in In Room Dining & Private Bar
• All liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in restaurant.
• Every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
• Designated glassware and garnishes for drinks.
• All menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.
• Daily menu specials and out of stock items.
• Guest room layout, table set-ups, hours of operation and price range
• Inputting of items in the POS system.
• Daily arrival / departure, VIPs.
• Be aware of in-house group activities, locations and times.
• Correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• All department policies / service procedures.
• Take food & beverage orders via the phone and upsell, whenever possible.
• Provide food & beverage service to guests according to In-Room Dining & Private Bar specifications, courteously and efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization & inventory of the IRD & Private Bar areas and equipment.
• Assist the In-Room Dining & Private Bar leadership team in taking orders, retrieve and serve F&B orders into the rooms and other designated areas.
• Collect & Analyze Guest Preferences and Comment Cards.
• Open & close cashiers allocation & complete all required cashiers paperwork and procedures
• Any other roles assigned.

Description:

1. Maintain a team-oriented personality with strong people management skills;

2. Be actively involved in drinks menu development and maintaining updated and accurate costing of all drinks prepared and sold;

3. Oversee the organization of bar stock & ingredients; verifying all products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance;

4. Work closely with the company’s management on supply ordering, maintaining costs, floor efficiency & staffing;

5. Ensure all drinks preparation and presentation by the team closely follows recipes and SOP guidelines, and are delivered in accordance with the brand’s appearance/quality standards;

6. Actively respond to and handle guest problems and complaints;

7. Trains new employees on bar standards; capitalizing on informal opportunities to coach and mentor, taking interest in others’ personal development;

8. Ensure proper purchasing, receiving and storage standards in the bar. Maintain high-quality levels of receiving, storage, production and presentation of food and drinks;

9. Ensure proper grooming and hygiene standards for all service staff;

10. Ensure all equipment in the kitchen is properly maintained and in working order in accordance with SFA standards. Promptly feedback to management team if any issues arise.

11. Assist the company in expansion plans.

Responsibilities:

• Support start-up, maintenance and service activities with emphasis on safety and protection.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and to carry out warranty repairs.
• Participate in service and repair of personnel protection equipment, safety activities, emergency response, breakdown calls.
• Manage all orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Service team.
• Liaison with relevant parties such as customers, service supervisor, coordinators and logistic.
• Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at optimal level of efficiency.
• To participate/take up Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/ activities as per requested by the company.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in servicing/equipment maintenance, especially in Safety Equipment, Gas Systems, or Process Instrumentations.
• Able to commit to standby duty on weekends or odd hours when required.
• Good analytical and communication skills with customer service oriented.
