• Accounts Receivable: Key in customer payments, calling of trade debtors, monthly AR giro, prepare daily and monthly AR reports
• Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices and staff claims and payments
• Data Entry: Input financial data accurately into the accounting system, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Financial Records Filing and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Assisting with Month-End Close: Support month-end closing activities
• Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Audit Support: Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
• General Administrative Support: Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed by the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role is an advantage. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in accounting are welcome to apply.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) is an advantage.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Provide Admin Support:

• Issue Delivery Orders, Invoices, Quotations, and other paperwork
• Basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phone calls
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Provide HR Support:

• Assist HR Manager with all HR-related duties
• Recruitment and selection
• Preparation of HR documents such as employment contracts, letters, memos, policies, payslip etc.
• Arrange Foreign Workers to attend medical check-up, MOM appointments etc.
• Maintain and update HR database (employment records, leave, medical, claims, training)
• Full spectrum of payroll using Info-tech software (including workers time attendance, overtime)
• Employee orientation, onboarding and offboarding processes
• Co-ordinate Training & Development activities for staff
• Adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Salary commensurate with experience
• Added advantage for those with experience in handling foreign workers
• Proficient with MS Office
• Possess good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and demonstrate attention to details
• 5-day week + Alternate Saturdays (half day)
• Able to correspond with Chinese speaking associates and employees

About the Job

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in building and nurturing relationships within the Peacehaven community outreach especially in our Active Aging Centre (AAC). This position focuses on developing and implementing community programs, facilitating engagement initiatives, and fostering partnerships with local organizations, government entities to promote sustainable development and community well-being in engaging our seniors in the community.

Job Description

• Program Development: Design, implement, and evaluate community development programs that address the needs of diverse community members.

• Community Engagement: Facilitate workshops, meetings, and events to engage residents, gather feedback, and encourage participation in community initiatives.

• Partnership Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to support community projects and initiatives.

• Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and interests of the community by representing Peacehaven in local forums and meetings.

• Volunteer Management: Manage the team in volunteer management to enable outreach programs to be executed smoothly

• Resource Management: Identify funding opportunities, prepare grant applications, and manage budgets for community programs.

• Team Management: Manage a team to engage the community and drive attainment of KPIs required by our key stakeholders.

• Data Collection and Reporting: Collect and analyze data on community needs and program outcomes, preparing reports to share with stakeholders and guide future initiatives.

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Community Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field preferred
