About the role

This is a full-time Project / Site Coordinator position based in the Kranji North Region at Pacific Forest Products Pte Ltd, a construction company specialising in sustainable timber works. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of construction projects, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of projects within the company.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate design detailing between stakeholders such as clients, consultations, architect, installers and internal team.
• Resolve site architectural issues (i.e. drawings discrepancies, method statements) and implement the right methods to ensure quality and productivity.
• Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and main-contractors on projects and work to alleviate conflicts, dispute and abortive work
• Arrange scheduling of works, material requisition, reduce material wastage, cost control and project supervision
• Ensure project completion within budget, schedule and quality standards
• Coordinate architectural drawings and works, submit and update shop drawings, samples, mock-up and materials required
• Conduct inspection of installed works
• Compilations and hand-over of projects documentation including As-built drawing submissions
• Provide regular updates on project progress

What we're looking for

• Relevant Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction or its equivalent in built environment
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
• Preferably at least 1 year experience
• Good understand of translating drawing detail to on-site requirements
• Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies
• Understanding scope and sequence of works
• Good team player
• Good communication and written skills
• Understanding of 3D software would be an advantage
• Familiarity with construction industry regulations and safety protocols
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ensure vessel certificates are up-to-date and maintain e-documents within the system.
• Assist the Technical Superintendent or Manager in the preparation, monitoring, and control of repair and maintenance budgets for the fleet.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Project Manager in supervision at the workshop & project site.
2. Liaise with client's representatives with regards to all site matters with proper documentation.
3. Coordinate with workshop and subcontractors with the delivery of products and installation works.
4. Attend site meeting if required.
5. Ensure that staff and subcontractors carry out their work in a safe manner.
6. Responsible for monitoring the daily process and progress at the project site.
7. Carry out inspection of purchased materials delivered to the project site.
8. Conduct project site inspection on a regular basis.
9. Identify and records quality control problems during production or site work.
10. Responsible for determining the cause of the quality problem and initiate corrective action.
11. Carry out defect liability servicing of completed projects and maintain records of such servicing.
12. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Superior.
13. In charge of overall subcontractor’s installation works at the project site.
14. Basic façade/structural technical knowledge will be advantage.

Job Description:

• Attend technical meeting / site meetings with consultants and provide technical solutions
• Study drawings and coordinate architectural works with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues
• Ensure architectural works are carried out according to specifications / drawings
• Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems pertaining to architectural works
• Supervise the progress of architectural works on site
• Coordination of sub-contractor's architectural work and ensuring the work is on schedule

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Architect or equivalent
• 5 years relevant working experience in Architectural coordination
