The Area Sales Manager - APAC is responsible for the sales of our core software solutions including Charts, Publications, Digital Products, Update Services and associated OneOcean Business services to customers within an allocated region.

Working with the APAC Sales Team to take ownership of the whole sales process from prospect identification, through qualification, presentation, proposals, negotiation and finally closing the sale. Post sales activities to ensure that levels of service are maintained and that opportunities for upselling are exploited.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like in this role:

• Identify new customers and prioritise allocated key market areas
• Meet and exceed targets set out in bonus scheme for allocated areas

• Negotiate and agree contracts on behalf of OneOcean

• Make presentations to both customers and internal departments
• Provide and maintain data to support the Marketing Databases
• Analyse and review Sales trends for each customer including churn risk. Quarterly analysis to be discussed with the SVP APAC.
• Maintain continuous awareness of OneOcean products and services
• Keep Customers fully informed regarding new product launches and product enhancements
• To become a product expert in terms of digital products, solutions and value add
• Provide input for Product Development and new Product design
• Maintain continuous awareness of competitor services
• Attend conferences and exhibitions, meeting with customers and agents. Speaking slots at key conferences, to talk about OneOcean services might be required.

You will build and operationalize a go-to-market strategy both through direct sales and partners, and help develop a team of Sales Representatives, working to drive awareness, adoption and business growth for Google’s public cloud in relation to assigned accounts. You’ll have responsibility for Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) who reside across multiple countries within the Asia Pacific region. You'll also participate actively in all aspects of building the business, including attainment of assigned strategic objectives, business planning, demand generation, new account engagement and acquisition and account-based marketing activities.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Asia Pacific sales organization and will be a significant contributor to the leadership team within the region.

Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own responsibility for business growth goals which represent substantial growth for the business.
• Lead the SMB and Mid-Market business (Corporate business) for Traditional and Digital Native customers across Asia Pacific. Lead account and territory management and planning initiatives with each sub-region, ensuring balanced growth across both traditional and digital native sub-segments of the market.
• Drive consistent business growth by managing business cycles (e.g., prospecting, qualifying, forecasting, and managing book of business) in the identified accounts through partners. Present to C-level executives in the identified accounts.
• Develop and nurture partner relationships with traditional and cloud native partners to support the sales motion, ensuring sufficient partner leverage to cover the market.
• Lead operational cadence for both sales and partner teams to ensure adequate pipeline and agreement closure to meet goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in software sales, channel sales, or account management at an enterprise B2B software or IT/infrastructure company.
• 10 years of experience in channel management (e.g., GSI, RSI, MSP, etc.) or selling Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software.
• Experience operating in a senior business/business generating role within traditional or Digital Native corporate accounts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with large complex commercial and legal agreements working with procurement, legal, and business teams in large enterprises.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within the organization and partner organizations.
• Experience working with partners in complex implementation projects.
• Ability to work with pre-sales and customers’ technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
• Ability to leverage C-level relationships with executives to sell Cloud solutions.

Summary

The Broadcast IT Specialist is responsible for the smooth functioning of the Broadcast IT related systems, including and not limited to the Broadcast Management System, Media Asset Management System, TX Automation Playlist & As-run interface, EPG reports and gateways, Audience Ratings System, Editing & Graphic system, plus all relevant interfaces required to create the beIN SPORTS APAC linear channels and OTT services. Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot faults and provide solutions to meet the business requirements. This position will assist the Broadcast IT Lead to work with the various business units in beIN Asia Pacific in promoting productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality support for the Broadcast Management System (BMS) and other media solutions plus all in-house developed applications to ensure the availability of service.
• Working with user groups to facilitate, document and propose appropriate automation/integration solutions and processes as well as coordinate and assist support/training initiatives. Where necessary, gathers requirements and conducts systems analysis.
• Liaise with various departments within the organization for day-to-day requirements & future improvements in the system.
• Manage and ensure smooth upgrades of BMS and other media solutions,
• Implement and deliver approved application enhancements.
• Manage applications related issues, conduct qualification, raise tickets, propose resolution, and gather sign-off, develop, test and deploy updates.
• Participate in solutions’ evaluation as well as in rollout of new systems / solutions.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Studies or broadcast engineering or related qualification.
• Experience in software application development, workflow design, process automation, and system integration.
• Ability to write scripts in languages such as SQL/VBScript/DOS and familiar with CSV/XML/HTML/JSON, REST API and AWS cloud technology will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of Sports/Entertainment channel/feed/streaming, and advantageous to have experience in broadcast/media/OTT/VOD.
