This permanent position involves managing cargo flow, pricing strategies, and vessel optimisation to ensure the efficient use of shipping resources. You will play a key role in supporting commercial objectives, monitoring vessel performance, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cargo Flow Management:Support ports in achieving inbound and outbound targets and optimise vessel allocations.
  
• Vessel Monitoring and Analysis:Monitor vessel performance, loading factors, daily positions, and allocation to ensure maximum efficiency.
  
• Operational Issue Resolution:Address and resolve operational issues that arise from a commercial perspective.
  
• Market and Competitor Analysis:Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments.
  
• Pricing Management:Maintain pricing efficiency for BCO, IFF, tenders, etc., and provide analysis on contribution to revenue.
  
• Stakeholder Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with international freight forwarders, agencies, and other stakeholders.
  
• P&L Analysis and Business Development:Assist the Trade Manager in simple P&L analysis, feasibility service studies, and participate in business development initiatives.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking skilled Operations Executives to support Managers in enhancing productivity. It is essential to achieve and maintain the required cycle times to meet the business’s projected capacity and service level agreements.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Assistant Manager: Support daily operational activities and ensure smooth workflow.

· Effective Planning and Organization: Plan and organize daily warehouse operations to meet requirements.

· Customer Order Fulfillment: Work closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

· Customer Satisfaction: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, picking, packing, and logistics operations.

· Incident Analysis and Reporting: Investigate and analyze mistakes, provide solutions, report incidents, and conduct counseling as needed.

· Inter-Department Coordination: Liaise with Inward and Outward movements of goods.

· Stock Taking: Responsible for perpetual and annual stock taking, and provide periodic reports on stock movements.

· Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures, supporting a safe working environment including the safe operation of equipment.

· KPI Achievement: Ensure daily and monthly KPIs/targets are met.

· Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company’s project, operational, quality, regulatory, and HS&E (Health, Safety, Environment) standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 requirements.

Requirements:

· Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Warehouse Management or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, with prior experience in supply chain and warehouse operations for the healthcare sector.

· Knowledge: Strong understanding of Warehouse and Distribution Operations and Procedures, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Job Requirements:
