Our Client is a global corporation that specializes in a broad range of services related to energy-efficiency in various industrial and commercial settings. They aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain and Procurement to be based at their HQ in Singapore.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the Head of Department directly. The majority of your responsibilities will include overseeing the achievement of the function's goals, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of decision impacts and connections within the supply chain for Containers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensure the availability of an adequate supply of materials for uninterrupted production runs
• Lead a team of buyers and procurement specialists in purchasing activities for direct materials, aligning with production schedules
• Lead the Purchasing team in constant review and analysis of material costs, actively seeking opportunities for cost reduction
• Drive inventory programs supporting lean inventory to achieve the company's desired goals on inventory turns
• Establish key elements of Supply Chain plans, including operations, specific interventions, related costs, and timelines, in alignment with organizational strategy
• Develop new systems and processes supporting the Supply Chain strategy, leading collaboration with channel partners, including suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers, and customers
• Gather input on raw material prices from primary and secondary sources, identify outsourcing and cost reduction opportunities, and collect other pertinent information for developing the supply chain management strategy
• Provide input on cost-saving opportunities and market cost data for formulating the budget for the year

The Successful Applicant

You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Engineering/Material Management/Purchasing or related experience in a manufacturing environment. You must possess strong analytical, planning and interpersonal skills; with the ability to communicate well between internal and external stakeholders. It is essential that you are good with Materials and Planning. You should be familiar with relevant contract laws pertaining to Purchasing, and proficient in tools such as SAP/Ariba/Excel.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Daily Operations

• Outlet manager oversees the overarching aspects of the restaurant by cleaning of all areas, including the dining area, kitchen and restrooms
• To ensure the safety instruments are current and that safety procedures are followed
• Train and coach, employees in the restaurant to ensure that established standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation
• Outlet manager trains/provides training for newly hired staff to ensure each new employee understands the restaurant's philosophy and management's expectations
• Oversee all staff in the department to maintain healthy relationships with suppliers
• Understand all beverages offered, which includes the ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service
• Expertise knowledge of bar snack/food offered
• To be visible in the operation, provide recognition and promote good public relations

2. Attend F&B Meeting

• Schedule activities for restaurant staff according to guidelines and ensure proper uniform of staff at all times
• Maintain all restaurant equipment and ensure it compliance to the standards according to hotel policies and procedures
• Manage storage supplies and assign staff in requisition activities and evaluate all daily specials
• Oversees work in shift and restock supplies at the end of shift and perform regular inspections on all equipment and recommend required repairs

3. Guest Service

• Be readily available to customers to allay any concerns or problems that may arise
• Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems

• Working days: Mon-Fri (Office Hour)

Responsibilities:

• Perform project design (including selection and sizing of equipment) and development activities according to customer’s specification.
• Understand scopes of HVAC work (to bid).
• Perform site surveys, site measurements, attend pre-bid walkthrough if need be. Attend tender clarifications/interview as and when required.
• Work with Manager in developing project plan, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with relevant parties in preparing project proposals, tender submission/clarifications, and contractual documents. Regular interaction and follow up to ensure all projects are performed within allocated budget, timelines, and requirements.
• Work and coordinate with sales team to create quotations and follow up for service retrofit jobs.
• Source/liaise/negotiate with suppliers and vendors on quotations and requirements. Compile supplier quotation, assessment of quotations and prepare costing sheet.
• Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for all projects.
• Determine Bill of Quantity
• Any other duties as deemed appropriate.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering/Building
• Experience and knowledge in HVAC/ACMV is a must
• Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components
• Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and other construction documents.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC/ Mechanical Contracting
• Min 2-3 years relevant experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge/ Experience in project management will be a plus

Outlets Management
