Summary

As a manager of our workshop repair operations, and to support our filed service we are employing a Workshop Manager as follows:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Must be able to solve technical issues in relation to complex machinery/fabrication works repairs for internal and external stakeholders
• Capable of negotiating and communicating effectively with clients, as well as managing tenders, proposals, and quotations
• Oversee and ensure the successful execution of all workshop activities, coordinating efforts to complete contracts within budget and the established timeframe
• Ensure that the quality of all repair/fabrication work carried out conforms to the client’s specifications and to the Company’s quality system

Offer consistent feedback and reporting, both informal and formal, to Management regarding the performance and outcomes of the workshop

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid working experience and proven track record as Workshop Manager in a Ship Yard, Port, Marine Engineering company or a Construction Company
• Previous sailing experience and qualification as Chief Engineer, sailing on oceangoing ships will be an added advantage

Resposibilities

• Assist Account Lead to manage the services, day to day liaising with Tenant and resolving issues
• Responsible for the management and maintenance of the assigned properties under the Company’s portfolio
• Strategic planning and execution of property management best practices across the Company’s portfolio
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team, comprising of in-house Executives and appointed external service providers to address all issues and challenges promptly
• Responsible for preparation and planning of annual property management (operating and capital) budgets.
