The purpose of the position is to take up a proactive Sales Manager role in new business development projects within the geographical Sales area of South Asia & India.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance sales revenue of specific key programs
• Set objectives to meet and exceed agreed Sales targets.
• Identify new accounts and new business opportunities and act as a key contributor to converting them into new business revenue while maximizing ST BOM penetration in new accounts
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships, maintain close collaboration with its Research and Development teams to understand the needs
• Execute defined Sales strategy effectively and monitor progress against sales objectives and adjust approaches as necessary
• Work closely with regional Marketing teams and Distribution partners to align efforts and maximize chance to turn business opportunities into Design-wins.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the field of Sales, managing medium size revenue accounts.
• Knowledge of business processes, trends, and strategies
• Good leadership skills, able to drive complex programs involving multi-geographical Sales coordination
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
• Some level of technical knowledge in semiconductor industry is preferred
• Able to perform under pressure and adapt to change requirement
