Using broad marketing functional skills, drives the global marketing strategy in an identified business segment or geography. Directs multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams to successfully achieve and exceed business goals.

· Develops the global marketing strategy in identified business segment or geography, to differentiate Cummins from competition in market, and achieve business goals.

· Serves as program leader or marketing leader for key Value Package Introduction (VPI) projects.

· Translates the global brand strategy for the identified business segment or geography.

· Provides leadership, direction and development to a multi-cultural marketing team based in several locations.

· Provides input into annual operating plan and manages budget for area of responsibility.

· Directs relevant Marketing and Sales systems and processes, accountable for the customer satisfaction measurement process.

· Leverages relevant channel staff and knowledge to support marketing activities, champions Voice of the Customer into marketing programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Review incoming enquiries
• Sourcing of items from overseas & local vendors and manufacturers
• Follow up quotation with customer
• Processes customer orders
• Create/issue PR & PO to vendors and manufacturers
• Coordinate documentation for shipment
• Assist Accounts Department to follow up on payment
• Assist colleagues during their absence
• Any other ad hoc assignments

Job Responsibility

• Regular visits to customers to be informed of sales opportunities, to increase our sales to them and obtain a good margin by good customer service.
• Monitor all sales closely and be aware of the competitors’ actions.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team and drive sales for our exhibition halls and meeting rooms at Singapore EXPO. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities to maximize revenue and meet sales targets.

• Independent sales hunter with a can do attitude.
• Individual contributor role where you hunt for new corporate/lifestyle events through prospecting, networking, relationship building, channel development etc.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales processes
• Understanding clients’ needs and propose innovative solutions to key clients
• Work with the marketing department to develop sales campaigns that can generate a continuous pipeline of opportunities
• Conduct regular sales presentations and site visit with clients
• Manage, support and service the clients from prospecting to closure of events.
• Main point of contact between our client and internal teams, and to collaborate closely with event management and operations team to ensure successful completion of events.

Qualification

• Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Tourism and Hospitality, MICE, Corporate Sales and/ or Events.
• Proven sales experience in the venue or hospitality industry (a plus).
• Proven track record of developing new accounts.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
