• 5-8 years of working experience in the Automotive industry
• Experience in leading a pre-owned car operations team in the automotive industry, preferably with high-end brands.
• Proven track record of success in pre-owned car sales
• A team player with excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
• Required to perform shift work including weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A valid class 3 driving license and clean driving record

Your Career

As a Global Sales Support Specialist, you will provide support to our Field Sales Teams with quoting of complex deals, educating on one-off quotes to order inquiries, and advising on product configuration rules. You will also support short-term marketing sales promotions while collaborating with internal business partners to ensure that deals are moving forward.  

Leveraging your passion for knowledge sharing, you will facilitate training with the Field Sales Team on Quote to Order processes and procedures guidelines, educate new hires one Salesforce and advanced quoting sessions. You will also be able to identify system gaps or improvement opportunities and escalate to proper resources for resolution.

Each team member works out of a shared mailbox and is responsible for managing Global Sales Support activities with accuracy and speed.  Requests for assistance from an Account Manager are prioritised for completion based on revenue acquisition, customer relationship building and other forms of determining timing requirements. 

The Global Sales Support Specialist resides within the Sales operations organization and fulfils a variety of key support functions to help ensure revenue attainment.  This role will report to the Global Sales Support Manager.

Your Impact

• Hardware quoting and order tracking to ensure that deals are closed efficiently and accurately

The Sales Support Engineer will be part of the Sales & Service Team under the Customer Support Department. We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Sales Support Engineer to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in assisting the sales team by providing technical support, developing proposals, preparing sales calculations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

• Provide assistance in the preparation of sales quotations and tenders, including sales calculations.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and system layouts.
• Ensure all technical aspects of proposals are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with customer needs.
• Develop macros in Excel for automatic sales calculations and cost dispersion.
• Prepare spare parts quotations using SAP.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, technical requirements, and sales activities.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports, proposals, and presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Track and report on sales support activities, customer feedback, and technical issues.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to compile estimations.
• Undertake any other assignments as allocated by the reporting supervisor/management.
