Job Description:

Leading regional distributor of interior furnishing fabrics, wallcoverings, leather, is expanding in Singapore. Established in Hong Kong 40 years ago, Altfield has showrooms/offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Macau as well as Singapore. Active in major hospitality projects throughout Southeast Asia, we are recruiting additional junior and senior sales executives. Candidates should have experience calling on and servicing hospitality specifiers, interior designers, property developers and contractors to promote our products and follow through to make sales.

Skills and Requirements:

1) Outdoor sales experience with soft furnishings/wallcoverings/interior designer products or building materials

2) Good communications and presentation skills

3) Proficiency in Chinese, English and computer skills

• Offer technical sales support and advisory services to clients for the procurement of electrical products, aiming to create business opportunities and establish a presence with clients.
• Handle all aspects of the sales process, including estimating project costs, providing quotations, finalizing orders, preparing documentation, and resolving any customer issues.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets and gross margin goals set for assigned accounts.
• Concentrate on understanding the specific technical needs of customers while also gathering market and competitive insights related to each account.
• Foster enduring relationships across all levels of the customer's organization.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of products, the electrical goods market, and competitors.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred candidates who have their own vehicle, as extensive travel across the island is a frequent requirement for this role.
• Robust technical and business acumen.
• Demonstrated track record of 1 to 2 years in successful sales to industrial clientele.
• Proficiency in electrical product understanding.
• Exceptional consultative sales, interpersonal, and negotiation capabilities.
