Job Description:
My client is an industry leader in manufacturing high-performance polymers and engineering plastics, supplying to various industries. We are looking for an individual to expand their business and cover the Australian & New Zealand (ANZ) and South Asian markets. The industries they will be selling to include cable manufacturers, medical device makers, the mining industry, etc.
This role is responsible for:
· Plan annual sales strategy, products, and marketing plans.
· Ensure a seamless connection between the company and the Australian and New Zealand markets.
· Be part of the joint strategy for emerging markets in South Asia, collaborating with other business units.
· Foster strong relationships, particularly with key accounts, acting as a facilitator for customer intimacy.
· Develop and maintain customer relationships, contributing insights to marketing plans.
· Participate in local trade organizations to expand industry networks.
· Facilitate business development through the establishment of new client/application access.
· Collaborate on service rules with market managers, ensuring adherence.
· Manage fixed costs within budget.
· Handle collaborations and negotiations with customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors’ Degree in chemistry, business, engineering, or any related field (A Master’s Degree will be a plus)
· At least 10 years of commercial experience in selling Engineering plastice/High performance polymer.
· Strong customer-facing experience with a cross-functional relationship with various internal stakeholders like operations manufacturing and supply chain
· Strong relationship building skill with good market network and understanding of ANZ and/or South Asia market
