Other Requirements

· Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering.

· 4 - 8 years relevant working experience with good sales track record.

· Good sales network in the marine industry and knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.

· Experience as Ex-Radio Officers, are added advantages.

· Good customer contacts withship managers/owners will be an advantage

· Possess excellent business acumen, communication & presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sales cycle, starting with cold calling and/or inquiries and continuing with presentations, quotes, closing, and post-sale customer support.
• Follow up on sales prospects and successfully complete transactions.
• Possess the ability to confidently offer suggestions and precisely compile data, facts, and information.
• Ensuring the terms of contracts and pricing you negotiate with clients are in line with the goals and profitability of the business.
• Promoting and demonstrating ICT products.

Requirements

• Preferably 2 years and above of sales experience
• Possess basic knowledge of IT are an advantage.
• At least a diploma holder and above.
• Basic Office Functions – Microsoft Office, E-Mail, Phones, Computers, and Interaction with Vendors
• Excellent customer services and possess an outgoing and motivating attitude.

What You'll Do

• Own the complete sales cycle of our largest prospects in Singapore and APAC - from generating leads to closing deals to getting them live and transacting;
• Creatively drive innovation for merchants in retail, digital, platforms, and financial services;
• Become an expert in selling Adyen's world-class financial solutions;
• Partner with technology leaders and solution providers while working closely with our Compliance, Implementation, and Account Management teams;
• Travel and network (~25%);

Who You Are:

• A hunter who tells excellent stories;
• Proven experience in an enterprise sales role (4+ years) selling complex solutions;
• You have a strong network of clients or industry expertise in digital, retail, or platforms that is relevant for Adyen
• You are a team player who enjoys working in person with the sales team both locally and globally across different cultures, roles, and offices;
• You are analytical, a strategic negotiator with a commercially driven, go-getting attitude;
•You are an excellent communicator of big ideas and can uncover complex needs with great questions and listening.
• You are a resourceful, super self-starter and can execute and manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment;
• Working in the financial space against large banking institutions is a challenge, so you are prepared to educate and pitch transparently with a consultative approach;
• English proficiency required. Business level fluency of other Asian languages is a plus to tackling regional markets.

Responsibilities:

• Perform customers’ orders processing and arrange for shipment
• Providing sales support, pricing support as well as assisting in sales campaigns to maximize sales profitability
• Maintain good customer relationships, including going for customer visit if necessary
• Prepare weekly sales reports and managing monthly orders and sales
