What you will do

As the APJ Cloud Security Solution Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role as the pioneer Sales Subject Matter Expert to support the field sales team that are engaged with CyberArk’s Enterprise Customers and Partners by guiding, strategising, sharing of best practices and competing against competition with the ultimate aim of winning deals.

Primary Job Function

Our unique pharmaceutical business offers exposure to medicines, vaccines and consumer healthcare products across a patient’s life cycle from conception to later life, with brands coming from; our established business, wholly owned local companies and local brands. We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our regional marketing team; to help transform the business and deliver on our ambition to grow the business with our expansion in to e-commerce and digital healthcare services.

Beyond day to day marketing, there will be involvement with Business Development (BD) to build the product pipeline and fill the innovation hub. The right candidate will be able to work independently and be creative and passionate.

The role is tasked with (1) innovative marketing plans, in partnership with affiliate businesses and the global marketing team (2) forecasting marketing initiatives based on consumer insights and analysis of new business opportunities (3) enhancing the capabilities and talent pipeline in the marketing organisation (4) leading programs to deliver on the APAC strategy to double the size of the business.

The position is responsible for also working closely with cross functional teams across the geographies.

Core Job Responsibilities

• To review and support the APAC region’s strategic business plans for the group of products (Brands, BGX, Gx and OTC/OTx) and to support APAC region’s sales and share growth for the group of products with a focus on current as well as the product portfolio of new launches.
• Provide support to affiliate to assure the commercial success of assigned brands/TA
• Ensure APAC EPD builds and enhances a Marketing led mindset with insights, patients and customers at the core of everything delivered.
• Develop project and marketing plans supporting new product introductions from both internal and external resources
• Success in the role will take into account the delivery of sales against Plan numbers, utilisation of the promotional support budget and improved market share of brands across TAs.
• Design, manage and support marketing insights driven brand plans for APAC EPD with the involvement as appropriate of all key stakeholders. The plans should identify future trends and address all key issues, CSFs and execution steps.
• Work cross functionally across APAC in executing the annual and long term marketing plan.
• Ensure Affiliate Marketing plans are reviewed, challenged and executed well.
• Design, plan and organize execution of key regional marketing programs for the brands including digital and multichannel customer engagement.
• Create mechanisms to monitor and assess execution of marketing programs. Adapt plan and tactics accordingly
• Be responsible for Regional launch plans and ensure optimal utilisation of the planned promotional support budget
• Ensure suitable commercial input for NPD business case evaluation (clinical development and Licensing & Acquisitions (L&A))
• Leverage market insight and market research programs for key brands to answer key questions posed by the brand to deliver on unmet needs
• Ensure capability building across the region in launching new BGx and marketing BGx
• Collaborate with sales team and reinforce portfolio selling and category management
• Reinforce best practices sharing across affiliates
• Represent Asia in Divisional/Global Marketing forums

Minimum Education

• Business degree – Graduate or Post-graduate

Minimum Experience/Training Required

Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience

Regional asset is an asset

Local experience in APAC with preferably at least 1 year experience in sales on top of marketing

Knowledge of APAC pharmaceutical market

Experience in cardiology, CNS or Gastro enterology TA is a plus

What you will do

As the APJ Solution Sales Specialist focusing on our endpoint and identity solutions (Workforce Solutions), you will play a vital role as the pioneer Sales Subject Matter Expert to support the field sales team that are engaged with CyberArk’s Enterprise Customers and Partners by guiding, strategising, sharing of best practices and competing against competition with the ultimate aim of winning deals.

A key function of this role is establishing a highly collaborative working relationship with the sales teams in APJ for pursuing the Workforce solutions related business opportunities. As the advocate of this solution, you will work closely with the all the functional teams, Product Management team and sales teams to formulate and execute go to market strategy, as well as identify areas of improvement with the aim of increasing CyberArk’s Workforce solutions brand awareness and market share. Therefore, this person must have a good understanding of the current Workforce solutions market landscape across the region, competition and their modus operandi, as well as ability to identify area of focus to drive and achieve maximum returns on investments.

Responsibilities:

• You will establish and maintain customer relationships at the executive, business decision maker level including but not limited to CISO, CIO, and other executives responsible for endpoint security.
• You will develop & present compelling business cases to customers, maintain expert-level knowledge of all elements of the business case, including the drivers of cost, benefits, and risk.
• You will partner closely with Account Managers, Solutions Engineers and Professional Services to align the technology architecture to the customer's desired business outcomes
• Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure successful product adoption and realization of the full value of Customer’s technology investment.
• Work with Advisory Firms, Channel Partners, Resellers and Systems Integrators to penetrate new accounts and extend reach of CyberArk’s endpoint & identity security solution in the assigned geography.

• Supporting sales team to identify, scope, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed established sales quota.

What you need to succeed

• 5+ years sales or consultancy experience in the endpoint and/or IAM market
• Regional selling experience in either of these regions i.e ASEAN, ANZ, North Asia, Japan, India, Korea
• A consistent proven track record as an enterprise software sales / sales specialist meeting or exceeding assigned quota.
• A demonstrated history of successful collaboration as part of a sales/account team in a strategic selling capacity.
• In-depth knowledge on cloud security best practices and technologies employed by large enterprises.
• Good knowledge of cloud security market landscape. Ability to compare and differentiate competitors with CyberArk solutions.
• Interaction with Product Management to articulate custom requirements based upon customer needs.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and capable of presenting technical concepts and product solutions to audiences ranging from IT staff to business executives.
• Aptitude to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business use cases, and successfully positioning for wins.
• Ability to travel within APJ and other locations when necessary.
