What you will do at VASS
We are looking for an individual with extensive business development experience in Business Solutions to engage our growing business in the Asia Pacific.
- Responsible for new business development as well as maintaining existing customers
- Manage a sales pipeline of sales opportunities
- Develop sales plans and budget forecasts
- Achieve revenue and profit targets
- Generate quality and timely proposal/sales materials for customers
- Effectively present, position, and communicate the full strengths of the company to customers, partners, and suppliers
- Negotiate business deals and terms of cooperation
- Prepare business development reports and forecasts of potential sales opportunities
- Guide and mentor the team to ensure the highest levels of performance and professional growth
- Lead the practice commercially, setting strategic direction and driving business growth
- Manage partnerships with software vendors and other key stakeholders
- Understand and leverage cloud computing, AI, CRM, and marketing automation technologies to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
- Participate in and develop marketing events
- Execute any other business development projects assigned by management
What VASS expects from you
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a similar discipline is required
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce and/or BD experience in Salesforce products preferred
- 7-10 years of business development experience in an IT/IS organization
- At least 5 years working in an international company and/or serving as a regional contact
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, AI, CRM, and marketing automation technologies
- Strong customer focus with the ability to work in both solo and team-oriented environments, demonstrating flexibility to perform in multi-task situations. Demonstrated ability to meet customer needs through various circumstances and situations
- Strong vendor management skills with the ability to manage and partner with vendors to effectively deliver a high level of service
- Excellent proposal writing, communication, and presentation skills essential for effective performance in this role
- Proven track record in business development, execution, and follow-through is advantageous
- Effective bilingual communication in English and Spanish (preferred) to liaise with clients and associates
- Ability to work independently and perform well under stress
- Willingness to travel
