Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/Manager (Group Corporate Affairs)
Job Overview:
As a member of the team, you will be part of a diverse and global team at the forefront of creating cargo solutions to enable more agile, resilient and sustainable supply chains. Experience first-hand and drive supply chain transformation from Singapore through client’s global network of ports, logistics and supply chain solutions.
You will be required to function as both an individual contributor and as part of a larger team working closely with all levels of organisation, in the management and/or support of corporate and marketing communications, corporate affairs, publicity, events, branding and related activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing branding and marketing strategies to enhance the company’s image and reputation.
- Executing public relations and communication strategies to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, such as customers, investors, employees, and the media.
- Managing or supporting the company’s social media presence, website, content, and other communication channels to ensure consistency in messaging and brand image.
- Planning and executing events and promotional activities to create awareness of the company’s products or services.
- Monitoring media coverage and industry trends to proactively identify potential issues that may affect the company’s reputation.
- Supporting crisis communication plans and handling crises when they arise.
- Working closely with other departments on business units to ensure that messaging is aligned with business goals.
- Supporting the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- At least 4 years or more of work in the fields of communications, branding and/or marketing.
- Digital Media Proficiency. Understanding social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and web design is critical for a Communication Manager.
- Attention to details. Essential for creating content, proofreading and editing.
Personality:
- Professional, positive and energetic with a strong ownership mentality and the ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation.
- The ability to think constructively, critically and creatively to solve problems.
- A hands-on contributor and ready to go outside of the box to make things work.
- As a skilled communicator, you can convince and articulate verbally and in writing.
- An effective multi-tasker, you can deal with multiple priorities and situations as they arise.
- Flexible, resilient under pressure and able to adopt to fast-changing dynamics.
- Ability to motivate team members.
- Comfortable working across different cultures or time zones.
- High level of personal integrity and accountability.
- Drive for continuous learning and improvement.
- A sense of humour is a plus.
