The Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is inviting applications for a Manager / Assistant Senior Manager in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide support to the GIS Unit and its GIS educational programmes. The GIS Unit spearheads the research, training and applications of GIS in the Department and aims to extend beyond the academic realm to foster an Asia-focused GIS ecosystem with global reach. The Department is the leading centre in Singapore for GIS research and teaching, hosting comprehensive geospatial and other laboratory facilities. What will I be doing?
As the Senior Manager, Food & Beverage Operations – South-East Asia, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Implementing deliverables of strategic priorities and projects for South East Asia, ensuring key stakeholder alignment,
• Being fully acquainted with the brand identities, operating standards, and Food & Beverage (F&B) concepts of each Hilton brand and ensuring these are being followed to drive operational excellence and financial performance of each hotel.

Procurement:

• Source and identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expand the supplier base and meet new project/production needs.
• Obtain quotes from newly sourced suppliers to achieve competitive costing and continuous cost reduction.

• Provide periodic alerts and updates to internal/external customers to promptly address any issues or delays.
• Work with principals/suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer/company needs.

Warehousing:

• Manage the warehouse team to ensure timely receiving/issuance of raw materials.
• Oversee the warehouse team to fulfill order requirements for all customer shipments.
• Ensure overall inventory integrity of all goods in the warehouse.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of working experience and exposure in both mechanical and electrical customized parts and components sourcing.
