The Role

Reporting to the APAC Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing the migration of transactional accounting functions such as AP, AR and GL to the internal shared services team based in India. As the main project lead, you will oversee the end-to-end transition of AP, AR and GL processes and collaborate closely with the Big 4 consulting firms, leveraging on their expertise to ensure a smooth and efficient transition.

You will developa comprehensive project plan, engaging with stakeholders at both the shared services team and country-level finance teams, and establish robust processes and procedures. You will ensure seamless communication and coordination between all parties, minimizing any potential risk and downtime, and drive performance monitoring to meet project goals and timelines.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

- At least 6 years of relevant experience within a shared services environment with solid accounting knowledge

- Proven exposure in managing the migration of transactional accounting functions to an inhouse or outsourced shared services team

- Experience working with shared services based in India and/or Philippines

- Exposure within an SAP environment

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Risk, you will:

• Be responsible for the Group's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in diverse markets and all asset classes, identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Advise on risk areas such as market fluctuations, regulatory changes, geopolitical instability etc., establish governance frameworks in compliance with industry standards
• Business partner with stakeholders of various business units to conduct risk assessments on development projects, identify potential threats to project success
• Proactively enhance risk culture and risk confidence through trainings of responsible business practices, raise awareness to leadership and foster credibility with regulatory bodies
• Facilitate insightful reporting and stay up to date of emerging risk trends

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting & Finance / Business, at least 10 years of working experience in ERM
• Good knowledge of risk management and internal control concepts, leading risk management practices and standards (e.g. ISO 31000, COSO) and SGX-ST requirements.
• Design frameworks from scratch, successful execution of ERM strategies in regional capacity
• Excellent communication, confidence and gravitas to engage with senior leadership/management team
• Proficient in using data analytics tool, derive data and present meaningful insights and strategies for management review

Requirements⠀

• Min 8 years’ of professional experience in energy and utilities infrastructure project finance and PPPs, gained preferably within investment bank, big four deal advisory practice or project finance advisory firms;
• Prior experience in M&A or project financing of power projects shall be an advantage;
• ASEAN-based project experience is advantageous
• Experience in preparing bankability feasibility studies / business cases for infrastructure projects, including PPP transactions;
• Thorough understanding of risk analysis and allocation for project finance and PPPs;
• Knowledge of project finance documentation and experience in taking projects to financial close;
• Result-oriented approach with hands-on execution capability;
• Ability to manage and mentor staff on engagements, and providing on the job training and knowledge sharing;
• Strong project management skills as they relate to managing engagements outcomes- high quality deliverables are produced on a timely basis and within budget;
• Strong client and relationship-building skills;
