Job purpose:

The GS-Ops TCC Specialist Trade Finance is, with due consideration of all internal and regulatory requirements and within the agreed deadlines, responsible for processing of the trade finance business for customers, as well as for providing specialized and process-driven advice within his/her sphere of activity. In so doing, he works closely with FK TF-CM Allrounder Cash/Trade Sales International, FK TF-CM Specialist Cash/Trade Sales International, FK-TF-CM Advisor Trade Services International, FK-TF-CM Assistant Trade Services International and Relationship Managers, and other department stakeholders that deal with corporate customers, whom he supports by providing pertinent information in a team-oriented manner.

Key activities:

Processing of Trade Finance Business

• Depending on each task allocated, the processing covers the carrying out of all trade finance business processes in accordance with the rules, regulations, and compliance-related requirements.
• Advising of customers with due consideration given to their specific needs and the bank’s operational requirements
• Assuming middle office role by performing pre-processing and post-processing tasks for Trade Finance Products/Sub-Processes in accordance with Global/Internal Guideline/Process

Description

• The Personnel shall be in charge of the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment in school compounds.
• The Personnel shall provide technical support in lighting, audio, video and stage for events by the Authority or external organizations.
• Lighting - Involves setting up, operating, and managing lighting equipment used during events.
• Audio - Setup and management of audio equipment, such as microphones, speakers, mixer soundboards (both digital and analogue), and any other audio-related technology. The Personnel ensures that the sound quality is optimal for both live audiences and recordings, if applicable. He/she shall handle the balancing of audio levels, manage live feeds, and ensure clear audio delivery for speeches, music, and other sound elements of the event.
• Video - Managing video equipment such as cameras, projectors, screens, and video editing tools. The personnel will be involved in live-streaming events, recording them for later broadcast, or displaying various visual elements on screens during the event. He/she shall ensure the video quality and visual content are aligned with the event's objectives.
• Stage Management - Setting up and managing the physical stage where the event takes place. The Personnel shall provide assistance to ensure that the stage is safe, properly arranged, and equipped with necessary elements like podiums and seating arrangements. He/she shall coordinate with the Authority’s staff to ensure smooth transitions between different segments of each event, such as speeches, performances, or presentations.

(b) Assist Authority’s staff in the setup of AV equipment

• The Personnel shall assist Authority’s staff in setting up ICT/AV equipment for events, meetings and lessons when required.
• The Personnel shall assist teachers in video-recording school events and lessons when required.
• The Personnel is expected to supervise students who are tasked to video-record school events.
• The Personnel shall supervise & guide Media Club during their activities in the area of audio & visual skills set.
• The Personnel shall conduct AV training for students and staff when required.

(c) ICT/AV Planning and Procurement

• The Personnel shall work with HOD (ICT) / ICT Manager / ICT Associate to propose solutions to ICT/AV persistent challenges that the Authority is facing which includes technical specifications and cost of implementations.
• The Personnel shall assist HOD (ICT) / ICT Manager / ICT Associate with the procurement process with regards to ICT/AV related solutions and services.

(d) Managing ICT & AV Resources

• The Personnel shall assist ICT department in managing the Authority's ICT & AV resources such as condemnation of ICT & AV equipment and the loan of ICT & AV equipment.
• The Personnel shall conduct annual maintenance of hardware and carry out troubleshooting and basic repair of ICT & AV equipment.

(e) Media Post Production

• The Personnel are anticipated to play an integral role in the post-production process of video and audio recordings captured by the Authority’s staff.
• Video editing – He/she shall compile the raw footage, cut and arrange the clips to create a coherent narrative or sequence. This includes selecting the best takes, arranging them in the desired order, and ensuring the flow of the video aligns with the project's goals. In addition, he/she shall be required to add titles, subtitles, and any on-screen graphics required for the video.
• Sound Editing and Mixing – He/she shall work on dialogues, background noises, and other audio elements. He/she shall remove unwanted sounds, enhance clarity of dialogues, and may add ambient sounds or effects to enrich the audio quality. He/she shall select or compose the right music or soundtrack for the video

Requirement:

• Shall preferably have certification/qualification in an AV-related field. The Personnel shall have at least 4 years of working experience in handling audio and visual equipment for events.

• Steer each market’s sales and marketing direction and develop matching strategies in line with S.E.A’s direction through intensive internal & external communication/adjustment.
• Work on the improvement plans for each country’s marketing mix strategy based on the S.E.A and Global direction of Reginal HQ & Japan HQ respectively.
• Manage distributors’ sales activities in ASEAN region including emerging countries like Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos.
• Responsible for achieving sales targets and increasing Timepieces sales volume through management of distributors’ activities.
• Responsible for elevating brand position of each key brand in the mid/longer term and achieving long term business growth.
• Manage PSI (Purchase/Sales/Inventory) performance indicators for the region.
• Keep abreast of market situations in the region and provide regular reports to CSP and Japan HQ.
• Required to travel to regional countries on regular basis.

Job Requirments

• Bachelor Degree in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant working experience at Managerial Level in Japanese MNCs in a similar role, acting as a liaison between Japanese HQ and its overseas subsidiaries

• Proficiency in MS Office Skills especially PPT and Excel
