Job Responsibilities:

1) Process – Process end-to-end payroll for an organisation with a headcount of 500 or more, including but not limited to, pro-ration of salary for new hires and resignees, submission of monthly CPF and refunds, submission of NS and Government Paid Leave claims, processing transport/dental claims from employees, ensuring accuracy of bank details and timely submission of bank files, providing payroll GL to the finance team for reconciliation, filing of IR21 for foreigner resignees and annual IR8A, etc.

This role will be responsible for the Environmental Management System (EMS) implementation and process- ISO 14001 standard / IHM / Bioufoluing Management Plan / BWMP / VGP/ NTVRP certification and process. This person will be establishing and maintaining an overview of future legislation coming into force and those relevant new requirements are addressed to management (SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, ISO, Flag). Lastly, this person will administrate ship to shore annual emergency response exercise.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant experience handling ocean going vessels. Candidates with sailing and shore based experience on dry bulk vessels will be preferred. Must have a proven knowledge and experience in conducting internal audits of vessels, office, and manning agents are essential.
