We are looking for Events Sales Manager to join our team

Under the guidance and supervision of the Director, Event Management, this candidate handles and manages all aspects of planning and coordination for confirmed groups and events in all market segments. The candidate is responsible for working closely with the organizers to plan and orchestrate all group and event requirements prior to the event day.

This role involved cross divisional work coordination on different aspects of the hotel’s event services. It is the key responsibility of the candidate to ensure well planning with the organizers in order to clearly communicate the requirements and details to operating departments of the hotels for event execution and service delivery on the event days.

As a Events Sales Manager, we rely on you to:

• Works directly with the organizers on their event programs and requirements in order to provide professional advice to facilitate and assist on their planning.
• Conducts venue inspections with the organizers or external contractors for planning meeting or event setup.
• Provides menu recommendations or custom menu design to offer service flexibility as well as to drive upselling.
• Coordinates food tasting arrangement for the organizers on high profile or special events prior to the event days to meet customer expectations.
• Works independently with external vendors to coordinate on special event arrangement, such as venue theme decoration, entertainment arrangement, etc.
• Develops close rapport with organizers to strengthen guest loyalty for repeat business in future.
• Maintains an effective communication and cohesive working relationships with Sales & Marketing team, F&B and other operating departments of the hotel.
• Observes and follows events management service guidelines and standards according to Events Manual.

We are looking for someone who:

• has at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.

As a Senior Administration Officer in the company, you will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support for products. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and processing orders by issuing job orders to vendors and monitoring production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiating Letters of Credit.
• Coordinating shipping arrangements and preparing necessary shipment documents, such as invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, and job orders, to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitoring customer payments and arranging timely payments to vendors.
• Undertaking additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain.
• No prior experience required.
• Good knowledge of incoterms, contract administration, and international trade administration (e.g., import/export documentation) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP and Letters of Credit is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
