RESPONSIBILITIES

Work done will be at the direction of the PI, and where relevant, the Industry Director and Centre Director.As the Programme is interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary by nature, you will be expected to convey yourdomain expertise and edify others (and vice versa) in as productive, constructive, and collaborative a manneras possible.

You may be asked to participate in the development of use cases and delivery of proof-of-concept prototypesfor government and industry partners in the areas of computable contracts and "rules as code". Experience inrequirements analysis and agile, iterative methodologies will be useful at this stage.The work of the team will be largely determined by these use cases and customers. We will work with multipleuse cases so that we can abstract across them and develop generalized, reusable infrastructure. We will workwith specific customers so we can build useful applications on top of that infrastructure.You will contribute to the design and development of open-source software written to serve those use cases.You will work as part of a team of research engineers, developers, and domain expertise and you will beexpected to actively participate in team meetings and text-based communications. You will be expected to beactive members of the applied research community, by validating and contributing to advances incomputational law.

You may be asked to conduct use-inspired research at the direction of the Principal Investigator. This includes

• reading academic papers, standards publications, and related material such as blog posts and presentations
• coming up to speed in fields which may be new to you, such as computational linguistics, mathematical logic, programming language design, formal verification, and model-based architecture
• reading (and updating/commenting, relevant) existing software documentation
• creating presentations, video recordings, walkthroughs, etc. to document and explain research work done

You will be expected to participate in software development; this includes

The main task is to assist the Economics faculty in conducting research. HCC is a commercial cloud platform operating in AWS and Azure with customized infrastructure to support healthcare staff and organisations. The Signature Research Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention and control of new and emerging pathogens. The key outcome of the research will be the early identification of new pathogens, out of which new diagnostic tests, treatments and control strategies will be developed.

This position is for a full-time Senior Research Fellow position. The Laboratory of Virus Evolution (LoVE) studies rapidly evolving respiratory RNA viruses including influenza, parainfluenza and coronaviruses. Our research helps to understand the molecular drivers of virus evolution and population dynamics, and their influence on virulence and pathogenicity.

The candidate is expected to play a critical role in generating and fostering a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research environment. The candidate should possess a strong background in molecular virology and/or immunology, and will utilize metagenomics sequencing and virologic techniques to understand the evolutionary dynamics of different RNA viruses. • This position is under the FRS programme. The researcher will maintain and further develop InfraRisk, an integrated platform for the electricity grid, water network and transport system quantifying the effects of weather-related disruptive events on interdependent systems.
• The platform will be leveraged to design system resilience against disruptive events and across system interdependencies, with a focus on simulating and testing disruption/restoration scenarios relevant to Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Drive mid-size or large-scale projects from start to finish as a key individual contributor, ensuring successful execution of marketing campaigns, projects, and programs.
• Driving the full lifecycle of campaigns and projects from budget reconciliation to social media promotion. You play a critical role in building client brand recognition by developing strategic project plans or marketing strategy for the larger product.
• Work directly with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful campaigns and sponsorships from start to finish.
• Demonstrate leadership and subject-matter expertise in the broader marketing organization and within a specific team.

The Responsibles of the Product Specialist are:

• Responsible for managing existing and growing new accounts in various industries, which includes Academic, Research, Healthcare and/or Life Science.
• Responsible for selling scientific devices and consumables with the ability to support demonstrations
• For Product Specialist (Healthcare) – Selling scientific and medical devices such as diagnostic reagents with the ability to support demonstrations (Relevant training will be provided).
• Provision of pre-sales and post sales technical and application advice and support to customers.
• Business development of new and current products to maintain our market leadership
• Building and maintaining good relationships with prospective clients and key account opinion leaders.
• Create, submit sales report on our CRM software.
• Opportunities for overseas product training are available.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Life Sciences related discipline
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

The National University of Singapore – which is the top-ranked university in Asia – is recruiting full-time Associate Professors for the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH) on the tenure/research/practice track appointments. The positions are specifically for faculty to work in the Health Systems & Behavioural Sciences Domain of SSHPH. Researchers active in one or more of the following areas of Health Promotion/Implementation Science are particularly encouraged to apply:

Health Promotion
• Research on:
o Behavioural and communication theories/models,
o Social, environmental, and behavioural change interventions, and
o Evidence-based strategies and their impact on socio-behavioural, environmental and health outcomes for various populations.
• Analyses of:
o Population health needs using mixed methods and appropriate statistical procedures, e.g., structural equation modelling, and
o Healthcare systems and policies to design health promotion interventions for the general public as well as at-risk populations.
• Planning, implementation, evaluation, and communication of sustainable and effective programmes targeted at health promotion and/or disease prevention for the public.
• Development and advocacy of practices, policies, and laws that will provide supportive and enabling environments for the promotion and improvement of public health.
• Leveraging on structures and mobilisation of organisational, governmental and community resources to create health-promoting environments.

Implementation Science
• Research on attenuating implementation bottlenecks and roadblocks.
• Development and optimisation of implementation strategies and methods to generate sustainable improvements in healthcare and delivery systems.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
a) Recognised Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline with strong post-doctoral research records,
b) Track record of publishing in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals,
c) Experienced in leading independent research studies or a component within larger research programmes,
d) Ability to generate and maintain an independent stream of research funding,
e) Ability to teach public health courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels,
f) Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and
g) Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.

Responsibilities include:
• Establishing an independent research agenda through extramural funding,
• Developing collaborative, multidisciplinary research,
• Curricula design and teaching,
• Supervision of postgraduate students advising, and
• Contributing to policy/community development in the field of public health.
