• Collaborate with various teams to improve project deliverables, such as with product engineers to improve array tests for better device characterization, with TCAD team for improved device understanding, with process integration engineers to define structural specifications to meet device requirements.
• Provide regular updates to global cell team and management team on project status and outlook, with clear summary of complex problems, actions taken to address them and timeline of deliverables.
• Assist in the transfer of a new technology from R&D to manufacturing and contribute towards ensuring successful ramp and qualification of current technology node.

• Process module ownership involving Grind/Trim process characterization and advanced process development for 3D NAND and beyond.
• Work with process development engineers in Singapore and Boise, US TD site and vendors to develop processes that meet integration requirements for next-generation 3D NAND nodes.
• Transfer Grind/Trim processes to high volume manufacturing (Fab10), and work on continuous improvements to manufacturability.
• Address process issues working with Fab10 team and with key business partners on tool choices for manufacturing, evaluations etc., as applicable.
• Focus on understanding and improving the process margins required for meeting the mature yield goal for 3D NAND parts.
• Advanced 3D NAND Grind/Trim process development will include performing fundamental research, consumables development, and hardware evaluation, as well as testing processes for novel applications.
• Initiate and manage experiments to widen process margins as well as to test out manufacturability of next node solutions.
• Identify process simplification opportunities and drive cross functional teams in implementation.
• Incorporate best known manufacturing methods into early development phase of upcoming nodes.
• Design and implement advanced process monitoring and control methodologies.
• Serve as a technical expert within Micron contributing to technical projects for improvements to processes, procedures, and equipment.
• Define and leads complex, multi-functional projects of critical importance to Micron, helps to define strategic direction.
• Lead team or sites or suppliers on complex, multi-disciplinary projects in quality focused meetings, process and yield improvement meetings, cost and productivity improvement meetings
• Provide advice and counsel to management on significant technical issues. Leads and initiate innovation projects through patents/technical papers.

• Be part of the continuous worldwide TD engagement with suppliers pushing for breakthrough solutions.
• Familiarity with Grind/Trim equipment operation, optical metrology and profilometry

• Understanding of various integration and structural impacts and constraints related to Grind/Trim process.
• An understanding of the general process steps and process flow for memory processing, planar and vertical NAND memory in particular.

• Ability to travel for extended periods of time and stay at Boise TD for 4-6 months at a stretch to work on technology development.

Position Summary:

As Supply Chain Optimization Manager you lead improvement projects defined in the supply chain roadmap. Further, you assist in the development of a process oriented organization. The improvement projects are generally focused around supporting & developing state of the art planning & scheduling solutions which help the organization to deal with the growth of the business as well as handling complexity of existing product flows. Next to working on individual projects, you are expected to proactively contribute to the supply chain roadmap by sharing best practices and highlighting opportunities for improvement. The scope of your role will be on all supply chain processes at all three Lumileds sites– San Jose, Penang and Singapore.

What You Will Do:

· To execute projects in a timely manner following the Agile frame work with focus on planning & scheduling related problems.

· Support & further develop our customised planning & execution solutions ensuring that the applications can continue to support the business and planners use the applications to best of their capabilities

· Provide first & second level support to S&OP solver and act as back-up for other solvers managed out of Singapore. This includes supporting complicated Demand & Supply analysis as part of the monthly S&OP process.

· Analyze existing methodology and implement a robust process improvements which result in inventory reduction and or service level improvements

· Drive consolidation towards harmonized supply chain process

· Provide coaching and training of new methodology and tools to peers throughout functions via workshops, project reporting and formalized training.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

· Experience in leading projects & operational experience in a multidisciplinary, international organization (preferably within semiconductor industry and supply chain area).

· Strong business acumen is required with knowledge in using optimization programs like IBM CPLEX, IBM ODMe (or similar commercial solver based applications like Oracle SNO, JDA SP/PP, Gurobi etc.) with an understanding of Linear Programming and/or Constraint programming concepts.

· Familiarity of ERP systems and SAP experience is preferred.

· Familiarity with java or .net development framework will be an added advantage. PMP certification is a plus.

· Excellent communication and conceptual skills (analysis, integration, vision and sense of reality).

· Capable of convincing Sr. Management, manage different type and level of stakeholders and deal with resistance.

· Ability to set the right priorities and translate supply chain optimization problems into tangible solutions.
