We are seeking an experienced Export/Import Coordinator to manage complex shipping and documentation processes. This position will start off as a 3 months contract with a high chance to convert to permanent based on performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle full set of import/export, letters of credit, and banking documents for shipments/customers, including smelters and ICW.
• Prepare accurate shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Certification of Origin, Marine Insurance, etc.) in a timely manner.
• Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, customers, and forwarding agents to ensure efficient cargo delivery.
• Communicate directly with shipping lines regarding draft BL, BL amendments, and master BL security printing.
• Calculate pricing for hedge contracts to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Review documents for compliance with sales terms, L/C terms, and customer requirements.
• Follow up on deposits/LC issuance to confirm required payments prior to shipment.
• Ensure the title of goods is transferred based on payment terms.
• Provide timely information to customers regarding documentation and operational inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as traders and fixation, to address customer needs and resolve issues.
• Offer guidance to Customer Service Specialists as needed.
• Serve as a backup for Team Leads in their absence.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the team leader.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in export/import coordination or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and regulations.
• Prior experience in handling Letter of Credit, full set of export shipping docs, familiar with Incoterms
  • 2-3 years in shipping, capable of handling high-volume orders, preferably past experience working in commodities company
• Experience using BSM & SAP Hana
