The responsibility of this position is to drive and manage the Keppel submarine cable infrastructure projects which includes the following activities.

• Work with the Joint build partners, customers and internal business/commercial teams and plan for new subsea cable projects through diverse, secure and practical routes that meet all stakeholders needs and where there is a customer demand.
• Convert the business requirements into detailed engineering specifications by evaluating the industry trends, proven state of art technology, cost optimization, future proofing, optimum fiber pair count, etc.
• To evaluate the optimum cable route through desktop study by engaging with relevant vendors, drive Invitation to Tender process by capturing the Cable owners/Joint Build Partners’ requirements, evaluation of bids, adjudication and selection of vendors by forming various metrics of evaluation.
• Development and finalization of supply contract with the subsea cable vendors by close coordination with the Joint build partners, internal legal team and various stakeholders.
• Work with the submarine cable vendors & partners and drive the implementation of the submarine cable system including design, manufacturing and installation activities.
• Collaborate with the landing service providers, vendors, partners and various internal teams and ensure that the purchasers’ deliverable items (say permits, cable landing station, fronthaul route, wayleave/lease for the land, etc.) are made ready on or before the target timelines, which also includes the formulation and execution of agreements from the technical aspects.
• Work closely with the customers, partners and suppliers on project implementation activities like site survey, design/build of CLS, installation, testing and commissioning of submarine cable and terminal equipment and follow up regularly to get all activities completed on time.
• Ensure that the customers obtain their relevant statutory permits in their respective countries for initial installation with regular follow-up and providing necessary support to them as well as coordination with the supplier.
• Ownership and management of the customer experience and relationship management;
• This position serves as a subject matter expert and a point of contact for the customers and partners on the implementation of the subsea cable cable projects.
• Conduct periodic review meetings with partners/customers/stakeholders and various vendors/providers to discuss about performance, issues and related action items.
• Travel may be required within the region or other regions to assist at various sites. Must have good communications skills.
• Project and Operations activities can often require after-hours coordinated activity and/or unplanned after-hours accessibility involving customer specific.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision in a non-structured environment. Superior interpersonal skills required to work with suppliers, partners, customers and internal departments for managing the life cycle activities of the submarine cable operation.

• Responds to all EEOC and other employee legal claims
• Prepare and submit surveys (MOM, CPF, SNEF, IMDA, Department of Statistics Singapore, etc.)
• Handle government claims and grants (e.g. NS/ Maternity/ Paternity/ PSG, etc)
• Oversee application and renewal of company licenses
• Supervise, train and develop the HR & Admin Team
• Administering project preparation
• Conduct regular review on payroll and HR processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards
• Manage WICA, Foreign Medical Insurance, and Public Liability Insurance
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Degree in Human Resource or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll experience
• Good knowledge of the Employment Act, HR regulations, and payroll practices.
• Detail-oriented and problem solver
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for overall IT infrastructure stability, resilience and performance including physical and virtual servers and network resources.
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate IT infrastructure capacity to ensure optimum operational performance for the organisation.
• Coordinates and works with resources (internal and external) to meet established project milestones and to achieve project deliverables.
• Identifies areas for improvement, develop an improvement program and monitors the implementation to increase process efficiency.
• Recommends suitable technology infrastructure updates to develop long-term and short-term planning.
• Assists in developing IT budget for IT infrastructure.
• Develop plans for implementation of new projects, perform Project Management.
• Participates in evaluations, recommends and plans implementations of new technologies and platforms to determine alignment with business’s needs.
• Manages resource availability to continuously support the business, including backup administration.
• Reviews all new and updated processes and procedures introduced into the production environment to ensure SLA compliance for both outsourced and internally managed services. • Participates in the development, maintenance and testing of disaster recovery plans as required & implements improvements.
• Provides mentoring and support to Business and Usual (BAU) ICT Executives.
• Manage response to alerts and notifications of after-hours activity.
• Travel to branches as required.
• Off-hour support as required.

• Degree Computer Science or Technology related studies

• Preferably with some years’ (8-10) experience in IT management level of similar sized structure and business, hands on experience and technical knowledge of applications and communications infrastructure
• An added advantage for those familiar with ITIL

Job Duties:

• Perform daily payments related works such as performing inquiries, monitoring of SWIFT/MEPS messages and reconciliation timely and accurately.
• Process settlements for various Treasury products
• Assist in Payments and Treasury related projects and testing.
• Assist in fixed deposit, loan operation and any other Operation related tasks when needed.
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree and above
• At least 2 years’ experience in Payment/ Treasury Operations
• Good interpersonal skills and willing to learn and work beyond.
• Attention to details and able to identify risks.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with local and China Teams.

Job scope:

To support Grants & funding initiative operational needs.

1. Secretariat duties for the funding initiative, including running of grant calls, convening of evaluation panels and engagement of government stakeholders
2. Executing policies and processes pertaining to the administration of the funding initiative
3. Communication of the funding initiatives' policies and processes to public sector research performers
4. Liaising with grantees on pre and post award matters
5. Regularly reviewing progress of awarded grants to ensure that KPIs, milestones and budget utilization is on track
6. Building excellence in grants management through the development, refinement and implementation of best practices, within company and through working with other funding agencies
7. Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned

Requirements:

1. Good tertiary degree
2. Minimum 2 years' experience in public sector policy/planning/governance roles
3. Have grants administration experience
4. Experience and/or keen interest in work related to governance and policy, especially in the research & development sector
5. Strong problem solving, analytical and systems thinking abilities
6. Resourceful and independent
7. Able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
