What you will do

Client and Trade Operations

• Manage trade lifecycle operational activities: pre-trade, trade execution, clearing, settlement and ongoing position and risk management.
• Produce financial and management accounting reports covering transactions, positions, risk, P&L and respond to ad hoc requests.
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize operational processes, controls, and policies to ensure excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate client lifecycle processes, including onboarding, KYC and ongoing support, in coordination with the client coverage and compliance teams.
• Ensure daily tasks and reports are completed in a timely manner.
• Innovate and reengineer operational processes to adapt to business changes.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and service providers (prime brokers, counterparties banks, technology companies, fund administrators), ensuring smooth resolution of issues.

Project Management

• Coordinate workshops for requirement gathering, solution design, and support development efforts across the software delivery cycle.
• Participate in end-to-end projects to enhance client and trading lifecycle operating flows and technologies: including overseeing project timelines, utilizing project tools (e.g., JIRA), providing status updates, and working with our partners to ensure successful implementation.
• Analyse business requirements meticulously, converting them into acceptance criteria for internal teams and external providers.
• Employ agile methodologies for dynamic and ongoing project delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver new products and enhancements.
• Participate in UAT system testing and ensure effective collaboration between internal and external parties for successful implementation.
• Create and upkeep documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides for new or enhanced workflows and systems.

What you will bring

• At least 2 to 5 years of experience in technology, middle office or operations at an asset manager, hedge fund, investment bank, private bank or other financial services company.

As a (Senior) Security Operations Engineer you will lead efforts to identify, analyse, evaluate, and act upon security risks and threats. The Engineer will carry out security threat identification, analysis, and remediation to ensure efficient and timely mitigation of the threats, as well as understand the threats' risks and potential business impacts. • Integrate Splunk into the needed log sources, if needed.
• Collaborate with Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) and other internal security teams to develop and finetune correlation rules and alerts.
• Implement best practices to enhance search and reporting capabilities.

Threat Intelligence

• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Review threat intelligence reports and perform the necessary follow-up actions.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to share notable incidents and improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional training exercises and simulations.
• Mentor other team members about Security Operations work.
