The role

You will be responsible for supporting and/or leading our Product Development team with the development of our samples from sampling up to pre-production stages for our womenswear lines. You will play a pivotal role in all aspects of the development process from design concepts to prototypes and final product assortment, and work cross functionally with the Fashion Design, Technical, Production & Commercial teams within Love, Bonito. You will play a key role in shaping Love, Bonito throughout this exhilarating expansion phase.

This role will report directly into our Lead Product Developer.

Main responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be split into 2 sections: 

LB Women’s Apparel

• Manage all aspects of product development and garment construction
• Arrange and run fittings with designers to ensure accurate fit and execution
• Recognising and solving tricky fit problems 
• Prepare and send Technical and Fit comments to suppliers
• Accurately measure garments to identify any fit issues 
• Execute fit comments in a timely manner to ensure fit process stays in line with production and action timelines 
• Approve samples to proceed to the production phase after a thorough evaluation of fit
• Ensure fit consistency across all designs, range, and lines 
• Effectively manage and dissect costs to hit targeted margins for the respective lines 
• Track and manage sampling timelines with respective manufacturers
• Be the main liaison personnel with suppliers and factories
• Be a part of overseas sourcing and fitting trips to factories during peak seasons

Special Projects

• Project manage multiple workflows through our Special Projects (Collaborations, special developments and technical & sizing projects)
• Be responsible for scoping the Product Development portion of projects, as well as overseeing their timeline
• Ensuring that all samples arrive and are fitted according to schedule in order for Buys to be made within deadline
• Together with the Lead Product Developer, create relevant new size packs / guides for new categories
• Develop new finishing standards for new product categories
• Conduct fit and wears tests for new product categories

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimally a Diploma in Fashion Apparel or relevant textile/clothing experience acquired in manufacturing
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the apparel industry
• Proficient in all technical aspects of garment-making and fitting
• Excellent organisational and follow-up skills as well as the ability to work independently
• Good command of both written & spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is necessary
• PLM knowledge would be a huge plus

Responsibilities

Payroll Processing & Administration

• Liaise and work closely with payroll vendor to ensure the monthly payroll computations and ad-hoc payroll computations for new joiners and terminations are accurate and in compliance with Singapore labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy of payroll data by verifying data against supporting documents.
• Liaise and manage payroll vendors in overseas offices (e.g. China) to review and process payroll for overseas employees in compliance with local tax and labour laws. Check overseas payroll reports (e.gs. Dubai and India).
• Ensure employee expense claims are accurately recorded in the payroll system for payment.
• Handle monthly statutory submissions, including CPF, government paid leave, including national service leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, childcare leave, and other relevant obligations.
• Annual income tax preparation and declarations for employees in compliance with local tax regulations. This includes foreign employees’ tax clearance.
• Provide detailed monthly payroll reports and journals to finance.

HRIS Support

• Assist in global HRIS implementation, aligning it with organizational needs and best practices.
• Help migrate data from the legacy system to the new HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

• Conduct training sessions to educate users on HRIS functionality and provide ongoing support to maximize system utilization.

HR Operations

• Support the HR team in pre-hire, on-boarding, off-boarding, and training records administration.

Mechanical Site Manager (with HVAC) – Offshore Substations

Job description

Your responsibilities as Mechanical Site Manager (with HVAC)

Ramboll is part of an EPC project, where we are working as engineering contractor for the EPC contractor located in Singapore. The Mechanical Site Manager will act as will act as a representative for the engineering contractor during execution at their fabrication yard in the north of Singapore, during the fabrication of an offshore substation topside.

In your role as Mechanical Site Manager, your focus will be to ensure and oversee that the fabrication of the piping, layout, HVAC and mechanical aspects for the structure adheres to all prepared specifications and technical requirements as per the contract. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries, any non- conformances, facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the engineering contractor (your back office), Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

As such, in your role, you will:

• Relocate to the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks
• Shall be integrated into the EPC engineering team
• Where required, liaise and coordinate Mechanical tasks with Suppliers, EPC Contractor and other disciplines
• Trouble shooting / solution finding during fabrication conflicts
• Shall propose a solution, including supporting documentation, to any design issues, flaws, or gaps in the contract requirements. These shall be agreed upon with Company before implementation.
• Collaborate closely with the fabrication yard representatives, the engineering design office, client’s home office and other discipline representatives at the fabrication yard.
• Coordinate mechanical tasks between project participants and suppliers as required.
• Follow up on time schedules, mechanical progress and results from fabricator
• Review costs for change orders, and progress claims when required.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders on technical solutions in order to ensure the best solution and in the clients best interest.
• Ensure that department execution workflows and design tools are followed and maintained

You and your competencies

You must have a result-oriented, proactive and systematic approach to your work. You should enjoy working both independently and together with your colleagues and stake holders from both the engineering team and the EPC team thus experience in both design and installation/commissioning is preferred. You will engage with multiple stakeholders during the execution, thus teamwork is essential to achieve results.

Furthermore, you must:

• have minimum a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

Your responsibilities as Automation Engineering Lead / Manager

Ramboll is part of an EPC project, where we are working as engineering contractor for the EPC contractor located in Singapore. The Automation Engineering Lead / Manager will act as a representative for the engineering contractor during execution at their fabrication yard in the north of Singapore, during the fabrication of an offshore substation topside.

In your role as Automation Engineering Lead / Manager, your focus will be to ensure that the installation and commissioning of the SCADA system, Telecom systems, Fire Alarm System and instrument/control portion of the mechanical systems adheres to the technical requirements and the design already developed by the engineering contractor. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries non-conformance, SAT and commissioning activities and facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the engineering contractor (your back office), Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

• Strengthen the existing Commercial Clearing & Forwarding Team to increase sales conversion rate and improve commercial processes
• Implement required infrastructure for IATA, FIATA and other clearing and forwarding related accreditations, memberships and associations.
• New Business development dedicating time to own sales activities including engaging prospects and customers to present and sell the company’s services, always furthering relationships to grow and expand the company’s business Focus on Access World’s existing target sectors as well as new sectors that is in line with company strategy
• Manage SEA Freight & Project Forwarding business and broaden network of vendors and relationships aligned with products, markets and trade-flows
• Collaborate with Commercial Key Account Management of our SEA network including quotation handling, sourcing of services and rates as well as P&L management not limited to sea freight (Vessel/Part Charter/LCL/FCL), air freight shipment and inland trucking
• Expand reliable and competitive freight forwarders, carriers (Sea and Air) and other transport providers meeting the companies and customer requirements as well as monitor and track their service performance (service failures, issues, disputes and claims)
• Maintain customer satisfaction meeting customer’s requirements with a reasonable response-time, rate competitiveness and validity periods
• Build relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including making presentations and attending networking events
• Provide management reporting including business reviews, sales planning, meetings and visit reports, etc.
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• A degree from a recognized University in the field of logistics would be advantageous
• Minimum 10 years Commercial management and sales experience in a Freight Forwarding/ NVOCC/ Chartering environment, with a minimum of 5 years in managerial capacity
• Resourceful with excellent commercial and entrepreneurial flair are critical to the success of this role
• Proven ability to hands-on with cross-functional and multicultural stakeholders in different time zone
• Self-driven, creative with positive working attitude
• Good leadership and influencing skills with a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced working environment
• Ability to travel regularly locally and regionally when required and on short notice
• Project cargo experience is an added advantage
