C. HR Operation

Education Qualification:

- Minimum Diploma in Business/Human Resource or relevant

Experience:

- Minimum 2 years in the full spectrum of Human Resources duties

- Minimum 2 years’ experience with recruitment

- Experience working in a company with staff strength between 20 to 80 pax

- Experience in construction, system integrator for any industry (Oil & Gas, IT, M&E, etc) would be an added advantage

Role Overview:

As the Events and Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial terms that align with our business objectives. You will also plan and execute various outreach and marketing events, career engagements, and industry collaborations to drive subscriptions and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Development: Develop and drive telco and other partnerships to achieve core subscription and revenue KPIs. Build and execute partnership strategies with key partners to enhance subscription growth for Viu.

1. Event Organization: Plan and organize outreach and marketing events, career fairs, and industry engagements to broaden company awareness and foster relationships within the community.
2. Employee Support: Assist retrenched employees with job search guidance and access to relevant training programs.
3. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of partnerships and events against KPIs, delivering reports to management to assess impact and success.
4. Coordination with Project Team: Manage and coordinate performers and relevant stakeholders with the project team to ensure seamless event execution.
5. Event Management: Conceptualize, oversee, and execute events from planning through to post-event closure, including all administrative, operational, logistical, and coordination tasks required for successful execution.
6. New Revenue Development: Identify and grow new revenue streams through innovative partnerships while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans, ensuring KPIs are met.

Requirements:

1. Education: University graduate in any discipline, with a strong preference for candidates with a diploma or above.
2. Experience: 7-8 years of relevant experience in telco, digital, e-commerce, hospitality, or the baby-related industry preferred.
3. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with a goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Main Responsibilities

• To ensure vessel/s comply with all relevant rules & regulations with special emphasis on the ISM code, the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standard as well as flag state, port state and the industry’s special requirements and regulations, and render support to ships as appropriate.
• During the absence of a Vessel Manager, the Fleet Manager in the respective Group assumes the responsibility or delegate another back up vessel manager.

Qualifications

• Technical/maritime qualifications with seagoing experience as Chief Engineer on LPG Vessel, preferably Ethylene
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Environmental focused.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills in order to develop close relationships with shipboard staff, vessel owners, charterers as well as internal and external support functions.

• Managing day-to-day operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and visually appealing to customers

Requirements:

• Class 1 CoC (Deck)
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in tanker operations or working with tanker companies.
• Master Mariner on tankers; experience with chemical tankers or at least 5 years onboard tankers preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Candidates must complete an online assessment prior to interviews.

15+ years previous work experience as a Senior Project Manager
Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in shipping agency operations or port management, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial position.
• In-depth understanding of shipping regulations, port operations, and agency services.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.
• Possesses strong business acumen, high energy, a proactive mindset, and a focus on achieving results.
