Job Description:

• Work in the role of a fieldwork team leader on audit and related assignments under the supervision of managers and partners, to ensure that these assignments are planned, executed, documented and concluded based on the relevant professional standards;
• Responsible for audit planning, system review and audit fieldwork for our client in various industries;

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work done will be at the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), and where relevant, the Industry Directorand Centre Director. We will work with multipleuse cases so that we can abstract across them and develop generalized, reusable infrastructure. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be required to work closely with and at the direction of the PI and Industry Director. This includes:

• Determining and planning the core requirements, deliverables, budget, and resources of a use case or research project
• Allocating tasks and designating responsibilities by identifying the specific skill sets of engineers
• Supervising the research team and monitoring progress of technical tasks on a daily basis,

Cash Management - Manager or Executive (Leading European MNC)

Our client is a leading European organisation and has 2 positions as expansion plans.

OVERALL SUMMARY

The role of this function is to:

• Manage the liquidity position of the Group, including effecting payments and monitoring receipts
• Responsible for all aspects relating to bank accounts and cash management platforms

Reporting into the Senior Manager Treasury

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Reconciliation of cash/account balances (actual vs anticipated receipts) including foreign currency
• Maintaining up-to-date spreadsheets on a number of accounts
• Arranging payments and ensuring sufficient cash reserves for upcoming payments across various bank accounts including in foreign currencies
• Optimising interest income on cash balances, fixing money market deposits with banks/financial institutions
• Following up with banks on payments and receipts as well as general communication
• Checking bank charges and interest accrued (both credit and debit)
• Preparation of cash flow projections & reports.
• Maintenance/opening of bank accounts (including those pledged to banks)
• Updating details of bank accounts, authorized signatories, addresses etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the Front Office Manager takes charge of the Front Office Operations such as planning, coordinating and supervising;
• Train and motivate the team to deliver service excellence.
• Make sure all guest requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and be available to assist on duty in the hotel;
• Maintain presence in the lobby, setting an example to team members for guest service.
• Maintain leave plans, monitor and control the department.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping department to ensure that cleaning is followed up and procedures are maintained.
• Prepare annual budget.
• Control and review expenses monthly.
• Ensure the new join team members have all relevant information upon commencing employment and receive relevant training.
• Carry out annual appraisals with all team members and identify individual training needs per hotel guidelines.
• Work closely with the Revenue and Sales Department to maximize revenue, room inventory control and drive upsell.
• Co-ordinate with the various departments to deliver quality stay experience for guests.
• Train and develop the Front Office staff;

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
• Min 2 years of similar experience or 4 years as Assistant Front Office Manager in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of Opera-cloud system.
• Competent in MS Words & Excel applications.
• Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills.
• A positive and people-oriented person
• Able to multi-task and detail-oriented communication
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Description

• Report to the Internal Audit Lead, assist in establishing risk-driven audit plan based on regulations and business objectives;
• Independently identify and evaluate risks and internal controls of auditable subject, based on understanding of local regulatory requirement, the company's strategies and business objectives and prepare audit reports that meet internal and local regulatory requirements;
• Responsible for communicating with management of problems discovered, providing effective and efficient action plans, driving and overseeing relevant remediation and validating the implementation of the remediations;
• Able to coach junior staff to perform audit projects;
• Able to establish continuous monitoring models to improve the efficiency of audit projects; and able to proactively identify and report significant risk exposures and control issues to the Internal Audit Lead during continuous monitoring process;
• Conduct ad-hoc review at the request of the Internal Audit Lead, as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above;
• At least 7 years' experience in internal/external audit or risk management related work. Risk management related audit and working experience in Big Four, financial sectors would be preferred;
• Understanding of regulatory requirements within MAS and relevant laws and regulations;
• Data analytical capabilities, able to use SQL or equivalent data analysis tool would be preferred;
• Familiar with COSO, Holder of CIA, CPA or similar certificates would be preferred;
• Highly energized and positive, adapt to changes, be creative and able to quickly learn and understand innovative financial business. Have Fintech thinking and well-developed communication skills, and be able to communicate well with business side.
