The Role Responsibilities
This role is for a Senior Developer in Temenos Data Source (TDS) Chapter of the Client Journeys (CJ) Hive. As a key member of CJ Hive, he/she will be responsible for providing Solution Design, Low Level Design, Technical solutions, Coding, maintain Development Standards and expert advice to the TDS team or CJ hive on the configuration of Temenos Data Source (TDS) and associated API/Interface developments. The candidate will be involved in all stages of projects from initiation to post-live support. The responsibility will also include managing Agile squad members and ensuring delivery of high-quality software that meets functional and non-functional requirements. This role will form a key part of a fast-paced, ambitious, delivery programme.
The Candidate should have strong core banking and/or Private Wealth Management domain experience in a Temenos Wealth Suite projects and strong implementation exposure in API integration and Market Data Products. The candidate should have strong stakeholder management and communication skills. He/She should possess strong core banking platform implementation background along with Agile development standards.
· As a Developer, responsible for implementing end-to-end solution for Market data setup in TDS platform
· Implement the technical solutions in TDS platform and to meet the end user requirement
· Responsible for surround systems, Market data Provider adaptor configuration and Deployment
· Responsible for drafting Technical Solution Document, Engaging in Architectural discussion and implement solution in TDS
· Responsible for setting up Test instrument data and build the Workflow for end-to-end Instrument Master setup
· Responsible for Unit Testing, System Testing and hand-over to end users after the production Release
· Troubleshoot and resolve the issues that are arising in the TDS platform.
· Build Monitoring tools, Batch automation and writing Linux scripts for batch jobs.
· Support Production incidents, Issues and troubleshoot them to resolve the issues
Strategy
· As a TDS Developer, candidate should be able to work on Wealth Suite TDS requirements and become a SME in TDS product and surrounding systems connected to TDS.
· Develop the assigned backlog in the agile squad aligned business priorities.
Business
· Delivery of TDS Convergence and Tech Simplification Initiatives within approved budget.
· Partner with other technology teams in the Bank including Security, Networks, and others to ensure shared deliverables are designed properly.
Processes
· Coordinate work with all workstreams and facilitate scrums to track and report progress and unblock impediments
· Drive the Agile practices adoption in the team in alignment with Agile standards and Azure Dev Operations (ADO) standards
· Develop opportunities for process standardization and efficiency across hive delivery portfolio.
Risk Management
· Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment within the organisation.
· Identify, manage, and mitigate risk that would impact the overall success.

Other Responsibilities
· Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure a healthy, refined Product Backlog for the team
· Responsible for teaching and coaching Scrum values and practices
· Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and attendance at Daily Stand-up meetings
· Remove roadblocks and obstacles where the team is not able to do so
· Assist the Product Owner in shielding the team from external interferences
· Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions
· Facilitate team member specialization and generalization of tasks
· Schedule Sprint Reviews at the end of each sprint with the Product Owner
· Schedule and facilitate Sprint and Release Planning meetings
· Primarily a facilitative, servant leader and a Scrum process coach.
· Monitor Sprint tasks to ensure success but does not create or assign tasks (the team creates and assigns tasks)
· Regularly meeting with the team members
Our Ideal Candidate
· 8+ years of hands-on experience in core banking implementation especially in Wealth Suite implementation.
· Good programming skills in Temenos Data Source (TDS) and needs to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of TDS.
· Technical skills like Java, Shell Script, Control-M, Jboss, GIT, Oracle PL/SQL, Maven.
· Should be a team player with excellent communication skills.
· Good understanding of the Instrument Data and Market Data Adapters
· Good Exposure to Temenos Data Source (TDS) Architecture/Setup
· Good Problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of setting up Enterprise Schedulers like Control M
· Good understanding and working experience in Agile projects in Scrum models.
· Knowledge of Agile Lifecycle Management tools, such as Jira / Confluence
· Education: Basic Degree In Engineering Or Equivalent
