We are recruiting a Bioinformatics Specialist at the Cancer Discovery Hub, National Cancer Centre Singapore. You will be involved in various “omics” projects based on Next Generation Sequencing, single cell technologies, as well as spatial profiling. You will be required to perform data management, extraction, mining and analysis of NGS data, and preparation of research publications/grant applications. He/she will be expected to lead highly impactful projects in translational oncology and cancer science.

Requirements:

- BSc/MSc/PhD in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Maths, Physics or other related fields with proficiency with NGS data handling.

- Comfortable with Unix based OS in a High Performance Computing Cluster (HPCC)

- Comfortable with exploration/analysis/visualization of genomic data with R/Python.

- Preprocessing and analysis of multi-omics sequencing data using available bioinformatics tools/software/pipelines.

- Knowledge in analyzing single-cell and spatial omics data will be required (e.g. 10X Genomics, BGI Stereo-seq)

- Knowledge of statistical test/analysis, clinical/biological data interpretation

- Knowledge in development of prediction models, dimensionality reduction techniques associated with analysis of high-dimensional cancer-omics data.

Programmes Development and Administration

1. You are highly responsible for overseeing and assisting with the initiation, management and administration of NN-wide initiatives and programmes.

Core tasks include:

• Preparation, collation, and submission of documents for program administration and monitoring of key performance indicators.
• Larger-scale budget management, which includes monitoring expenses with regards to the programmes, budget preparation, budget variation (if required) and procurement processing.
• Ensure that all funds are accounted for and prepare appropriate documentation in accordance with NNI / SingHealth financial governance.
• Working with various NNI departments to support the planning and implementation of the operational processes for projects, including manpower, workflows, OPEX, etc.
• Collation of yearly study findings/updates, prepare and submit grant progress reports to donor.

2. Oversee or assist with organizing meetings for various programs (include on-site review meetings, meetings with funders and collaborators and workgroup meetings etc). Ensure meetings are organized in timely manner and carried out in accordance with grantor's requirement. Provide secretarial support for the meetings.

3. Oversee and assist with drafting of and follow-up of various agreements, including Manpower Agreements, Research Collaboration Agreements and Service Agreements. All agreements to be reviewed and approved by managing team before endorsement.

Leadership and Strategic Planning

1. Work with supervisor to organize, plan and implement strategies to ensure the team and organization meets its objectives.

2. Support Lead Clinician to plan and justify for resources needed to meet stakeholder's expectations and aligned with NNI's strategic and business objectives as well as strategically develop and plan academic goals and directions across cluster.

Miscellaneous

Participate in the planning of new initiatives and helps to drive the implementation, including problem solving, monitoring, and reporting.

• Recognised degree with 6 years of relevant experience.

As a Customer Service Administrative Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the customer service and warehouse logistics department. You will provide product and services information, handle customer’s questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face. To ensure exceptional service to our customers while adhering to company policies and procedures. Your role will involve optimising workflows, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.

Role Description:

• Oversee and handle the daily operations of customer service department, including customer’s order, email correspondence and other customer inquiries, to ensure the delivery of high-quality support to customers
• Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline operations and improve productivity
• Facilitate communication between the customer service department, including warehouse and other internal teams (e.g. product development) to address customer feedback
• Handle customer’s feedbacks and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
