Responsibilities

· Responsible for product and manufacturing operation process throughout product life cycle.

· Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfers from R&D and other manufacturing sites.

· Plan and ensure smooth start up of new product transfers to local manufacturing operation. Own and sustain the product after completion of manufacturing transfer.

· Plan and execute process validation activities to support NPI and product transfer to local manufacturing operation.

· Provide Product Engineering support such as second level failure analysis, cost reduction through value engineering activity, and higher level subassembly (HLA) outsourcing.

· Set up and maintain Bill of materials (BOM) and drawings in SAP, and manage changes through Agile.

· Develop and maintain instrument/subsystem test station for production.

· Provide Sustaining Engineering support such as improving manufacturing First Pass Yield (FPY), support manufacturing process improvement and evaluating alternate parts for End of Life (EOL) replacement.

· Maintain and ensure systems and procedures are in compliance with ISO and Regulatory requirements.

Education

• Manage the quality assurance/quality control function on-site on various project phases.
• Ensure that the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements are implemented by the sub-contractor on site and the particular hold points required are coordinated with the Project Team.
• Review Inspection, Test, Plans as submitted by the sub-contractor’s and ensure compliance with authorities/client's requirements.
• Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with site engineers, issuing NCR’s in case of non-compliance.
• Monitoring and checking calibration of plants, equipment and testing instruments.
• Monitoring plant conditions and material production during construction phase.
• Approval of source of materials, keeping track of the testing, quality and usage of materials procured for the works.
• Perform inspections of deliverables to ensure that material is as per approvals.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents
• Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan(PQP).
• Able to identify problems, root cause & offers solutions.
