Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager specializing in recruitment for the FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading), renewable energy, and broader energy sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving recruitment strategy, managing client relationships, overseeing recruitment campaigns, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent to meet the growing demands of the energy industry. This position requires a deep understanding of the energy sector, particularly FPSO and renewable energy projects, as well as a proven track record in recruitment management and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Recruitment Strategy & Management:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent in the FPSO, renewable energy, and energy sectors.
- Lead the recruitment team in sourcing, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates for roles within the energy industry.
- Monitor and evaluate recruitment metrics to ensure the team meets hiring targets and maintains a high standard of recruitment quality.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the FPSO, renewable energy, and energy industries.
- Understand clients’ staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions to address those needs.
- Regularly communicate with clients to update them on the recruitment progress and resolve any challenges or concerns.
3. Market Intelligence & Industry Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the FPSO, renewable energy, and energy sectors.
- Provide clients with industry insights, salary benchmarks, and market intelligence to help them make informed hiring decisions.
- Leverage industry expertise to provide strategic advice on talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organizational development.
4. Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing recruitment team, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Set clear performance objectives for the recruitment team and monitor progress toward targets.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment to ensure efficient and effective recruitment processes.
5. Recruitment Process Optimization:
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job description creation and candidate sourcing to interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Streamline recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, minimize time-to-hire, and enhance candidate experience.
- Use recruitment technologies, tools, and platforms to improve sourcing and candidate engagement.
6. Budget & Financial Management:
- Manage recruitment-related budgets, ensuring cost-effective practices and efficient use of resources.
- Work closely with senior management to forecast hiring needs and allocate resources effectively.
7.Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including those specific to the energy and offshore industries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, recruitment best practices, and health & safety regulations, particularly in offshore and renewable energy sectors.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years of specialized experience in the FPSO, renewable energy, or energy sectors.
- Proven experience managing recruitment teams and delivering large-scale, complex recruitment projects.
- Experience with executive search and working with senior-level positions within the energy industry is a plus.

- Strong understanding of the FPSO, renewable energy, and broader energy sectors, including industry-specific skill sets and project requirements.
- Expertise in developing and executing recruitment strategies, sourcing passive candidates, and utilizing modern recruitment tools and platforms.

- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics tools.

Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications in recruitment or HR (e.g., CIPD, AIRS, etc.) are a plus.
