Key Responsibilities

1. Bidding Process Management

• Oversee and coordinate the entire bidding process from start to finish, ensuring timely submission of all bid documents.
• Develop bid-winning strategies by analyzing project requirements, assessing competitors, and understanding client expectations.
• Ensure that bid proposals are professionally presented, accurate, and meet all client and regulatory requirements.

2. Proposal Development

• Lead the development of proposals, including writing, formatting, and structuring bid documents to effectively communicate the firm’s value proposition.
• Customize proposals to highlight relevant experience, past projects, and specific capabilities suited to the client’s needs.
• Coordinate with technical and design teams to incorporate accurate project plans, timelines, and cost estimates in proposals.

3. Client Engagement

• Establish and maintain relationships with prospective clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the bidding process.
• Gather insights on client needs and expectations to tailor bids and enhance the firm’s competitive edge.
• Represent the firm in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and other client interactions as required.

4. Financial & Risk Analysis

• Collaborate with finance teams to develop cost-effective pricing strategies that align with the firm’s profitability goals.
• Conduct risk assessments for each project, identifying potential challenges and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure financial accuracy and clarity in bid submissions, including projected costs, cash flows, and budget allocations.

5. Market & Competitor Analysis

• Continuously monitor market trends, industry standards, and competitor activities to enhance the firm’s bidding approach.
• Identify new business opportunities and emerging sectors for potential bids.
• Provide feedback and insights to leadership based on bid outcomes, market shifts, and competitor behavior.
• Develop database of wins and losses for strategic fee pricing and MDT formation.

6. Process Improvement & Compliance

• Implement and refine best practices for the bidding process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and consistency across all submissions.
• Maintain accurate records of all bids, including feedback and lessons learned, to inform future bids and decision-making.
• Ensure all bid processes comply with local and industry regulations, including documentation and submission requirements.

7. Team Collaboration & Training

• Mentor and train junior staff involved in the bid process to ensure skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive approach to bidding, integrating diverse expertise across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, business administration, marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or business development within the architecture, construction, or engineering sectors.
• Strong project management skills, with proven ability to lead complex, multi-stage bids.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in bid management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of architectural and construction industry standards, regulations, and contract types.

Job Description: -

• Manage and coordinate all Soil Investigation & Geotechnical instrumentation works.
• Oversee all day-to-day operations.
• Assist the Directors on Project Management and procurement.
• Oversee all Soil Investigation works, and Geotechnical Instrumentation works including preparation of Method Statement, Installation, Data Acquisition, Data verification, Data presentation & Reporting.
• Oversee projects as they are being carried out to make sure that the work is done according to outlined specifications, and that they also conform with project timetable.
• Help project managers and engineers in the arrangement and analysis of projects and scheduling of reports on projects.

Requirements: -

• Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent or higher.
• At least 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience projects of large scale in Singapore.
• In depth Knowledge on Procurement & sub-contractor management for instrumentation and related geotechnical works.
• Good and effective communication skills
• Possess good leadership ability, as well as ability to work as part of a team or even lead a team
• Good analytical and organizational abilities.
• The ability to multitask and strategize in different situations.
• Ability to work and carry out projects within a stipulated time frame or deadline.

This role manages the HR department within Singapore, overseeing local HRs and establishing cascading processes to strengthen alignment among legal entities in line with HR projects.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the Singapore-based HR team, ensuring the successful execution of various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, relationship management, and implementing HR policies.
2. Work closely with the Office Manager to streamline and coordinate HR processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring all HR activities align with organizational goals.
3. Serve as the expert on Ministry of Manpower employment laws and regulations, providing guidance to ensure compliance and informed decision-making within the company.
4. Handle employee relations matter to safeguard the employee value proposition and minimize risks to the organization. Additionally, ensure compliance with data privacy across all legal entities.
5. Support senior management in formulating and executing strategies focused on retaining talent and boosting employee engagement through effective initiatives.
6. Lead recruitment efforts, including organizing university recruitment events and participating in career fairs to attract talent.
7. Collaborate with the training department or external providers to source development programs, nurturing talent within the organization.
8. Stay updated on HR trends, talent management innovations, and legal developments, and apply this knowledge to improve policies and advise senior management.
9. Manage employee relations, addressing conflicts, behavioural issues, and disciplinary actions to maintain a harmonious work environment.
10. Coordinate with international HR teams to align the company’s HR strategy globally, especially in recruitment efforts.
11. Work with the Global HR Team to design competitive employee benefits and remuneration packages to attract and retain top talent in the market.

Job Requirements:

• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Understanding of Singapore’s labour laws and regulations.

Experience and Education:
